Welcome to the Hochuli Football League... Did the Raiders impact the game? That question about sums up the game for me, I know the Cowboys had plenty of drops and poor tackling, and it was sloppy. However Anthony Brown should not be penalized for having the receiver grab his helmet when the ball is in the air. That was complete whimsical call, Anthony did not initiate contact, the receiver did. The Cowboys did enough to overcome their sloppiness, but the refs did not let them complete obvious plays.

So many calls were worthless, and they have been well documented here.

The conclusion I have come to is this. The referees CAN determine the outcome of the game if they want to. They sure did on Thanksgiving, with many more fans than usual watching the game. The refs simply DO NOT CARE. The NFL is not a sport, it is legally classified as entertainment for a reason.

You're right. IMO the refs penalties did have a huge impact on the outcome. But all but one flag was a PI on Anthony Brown. He looked like a bull in a china shop. Sloppy and uncoordinated. Don't think every QB in the league doesn't see this. All you have to do is throw it up if he's one on one with a WR, you'll get the yards.

Yep, if not for bad calls the Cowboys win that game........really? Come on man cool that silliness, you did get one thing right....DO NOT CARE....and they don't, not even a little bit.

Tired of reading all that crappola, these refs do the best they can. Not easy doing what they do,

I do think the NFL should look at getting younger guys out there, nobody over 40 would work.

These refs don't cheat don't have some agenda, they just go to work and couldn't care less who wins these games, outcomes mean nothing to them

Average age of an NFL ref is 51, that's too old.

You don't know them well enough to guarantee that they don't cheat, bet on games, or stand to gain additional money through their calls on the field... especially knowing that the NFL is NOT a sport, but legally classified as entertainment. That's a huge clue. The NFL has now paired with gambling in a joint business venture... what does that tell you?

Saying "the refs don't cheat"... well, those words are as hollow as they can be.

Right on... I'm sure that when the chips are down, throw it to Anthony Brown. It even rhymes, for Pete's sake. I should probably trademark that one.

Refs cheat! That is a fact.
Sure seems that way. At first I thought maybe it’s to keep the game close, using a judgement call to call back the catch fumble and call it incomplete.. MM couldn’t challenge it or wouldn’t matter if he could or did.. Calling a phantom hold on a big Pollard run. Both plays were going to change the flow of the game that may have knocked the raiders down. Then extending there drives. I was surprised they gave us the kickoff return TD. Kept looking for the flag..

If that's the best they can do, they need to hire more competent refs. I'm tired of hearing all these players need to play through it and play better but the refs can look like utter trash. They've been given enough excuses and are getting so bad they are ruining the game. If you were a professional an any other field doing the quality of work they are doing, you'd have been fired a long time ago... Why does everyone else have to play to the utmost perfect standards but the refs can mail it in? Nobody ever gives the player excuses. "Well the NFL is TOUGH so it's ok for them to take plays off and preserve themselves."

Before Tim Donahy came out about the NBA, I'm sure people would be in denial with what's been going on there and a lot of people are STILL in denial about that. The officiating takeover, which really started going full speed ahead after the malice in the palace, ruined the game and made me completely stop watching the NBA when I was huge fan before that. That Miami Heat vs Dallas championship was shameful. Wade just had to run and throw the ball in the air to get free throws.

If it happened in the NBA, why wouldn't the same thing happen in the NFL? When big money is at play, corruption is usually right around the corner.

AB has a history of not turning his head in coverage and getting flagged for PI. The Cowboys should have played a lot less man coverage Thursday when they saw how bad the Raiders scrubs were torching the LBs and Secondary for big chunks and a lot of YAC.

What about all the other ticky-tac calls in coverage that did not seem to be leveed evenly? What about the roughing the passer call on Parsons? The hallmark of a good product is consistency. The NFL's officiating has been an abysmal failure for a long time now. I would never wager on a football game knowing the referees are possible influencers with the final outcome.

Of course it could be happening. And some calls it sure seems that way. The playoff game with the saints and I think the rams. That non call was crazy. He gets there early and takes a shot to the guys head. Clear flag. Some calls and non calls on us this year at critical times that erase a momentum changing plays make you sit and think. I know if we ever find out for sure then many would quit watching but at the same time maybe it would end it if it was happening.

But also it seems like our team is doing the same thing we always do where we drop off after a big win streak that makes us all believe maybe this year it’s different. We have injuries and Dak is no longer using his legs to extend drives. Other teams have figured it out and stack the box and do what they have been doing since 2017.. These bad calls are just icing on the cake..

I don't have as good of memory as some of....but the defensive illegal formation, which Tony never explained, reminds me that we have been the subject of rare and ridiculous calls.
I've always thought the defense can line up almost any way it wants. It's a weird call and I wonder why Tony went against his nature and ignored it.

I certainly believe we bear responsibility too. Some people act like it's a black or white issue and that makes them way more sophisticated than the other riff raff fans.

But you know them well enough to accurately accuse them of doing so?

Did you watch the game?

People just want a game that’s not over officiated. These refs took over our game.

There are tons of neutral observers that have no horse in the race commenting on how bad they were.

They deserve all the criticism in the world for that ball game and that officiating crew having a 8-2 record for road teams and 1 of the 2 losses was Dallas at Tampa raises suspicion.

My boss don’t watch much football. He watched some of the raiders game and said what the f happened, you guys (Cowboys) got hosed bad by the refs. They would make these stupid calls and even the commentators were saying there was nothing there. And how was that not a fumble.. He was talking about the big Pollard run called back for holding and of course the catch/fumble called incomplete..
