Maybe when he get an extra 10 millions a year so he can "feed his family". Otherwise, what you see is what you Dak.

Looking at Dak's game log, the numbers don't lie! The Cowboys are 12-5 in Dak's career when he runs for 30 or more yards. They are 20-5 when he runs 5 or more times in a game.

I'm not even expecting big runs like Lamar Jackson or Kyler because Dak isn't fast. But when he is tucking the ball and taking a few yards on the ground, that adds an extra element to the offense that defenses must account for. They may add a LB/DB to spy more often and that means there is one less defender in coverage.

No.

He's mentally broken from the injury.

He's not even drafted in 2016 without his rushing numbers and ability to run that he showed in college. The one thing that was a major reason he even got a chance in the NFL is now the one thing he's terrified to use.
How do you know for a fact he was specifically told not to run?

Was thinking that same exact thing the whole game Thursday....there is now nothing about him that really separates him from the middle of the pack....he no longer has anything magical about him....JAG.

true. mvp front runner, number 1 in qbr etc etc, all washed away because of a couple of bad games w/ out his best weapons.

I think there might be two different things at play here.

1. Dak looks like he is hesitant to run, maybe it is the fear of injury in the back of his mind or maybe he has lost mobility due to the ankle injury. Either way, the stats dont lie and Dak's yards per carry pre injury was 5.1 and post injury is 3.8. Why is that?

2. There is also the possibility that the team has told him not to run after giving him a new contract.

I wish we could make a "Dak" hate zone and move all the *** ***** there. Would make the fanzone viewing experience much nicer.

That’s what happened to Wentz…before the knee injury his combo on running and passing was pretty effective…after the knee injury he stopped running….lost his job, got traded…will eventually be a backup.
