I'm glad you enjoy our losses....Send a letter to the NFL and request that we play dog teams with numerous injuries at home weekly.
Happy Pappy?????

Maybe so, but at this time in my life.....positivity makes me happy. I'm 55 and just trying to enjoy retirement...5 years and counting.....Not everything needs a positive spin.
I'm 56 and going downtown Tuesday to sign my retirement papers. I usually stay off the board after a loss just because there is so much negativity.Maybe so, but at this time in my life.....positivity makes me happy. I'm 55 and just trying to enjoy retirement...5 years and counting.....
After a loss, the bottom dwellers come here pounding the chests celebrating failure. It’s pathetic and takes all enjoyment out of coming here.We are fanatics, but to players and coaches....it's a job. We have many different members here and most of us have jobs that we are paid to do and judged on our performance...we compete against other companies and coworkers....same for these guys....many of us live vicariously through them and some of us go a bit to far with hate, homerism, whatever.....just like a pee wee league parent ripping a 5 year for missing a block.
I was pissed off on Thursday, many players and coaches to blame....at the end of the day, my griping or my defending players and coaches don't make a difference, and it doesn'tmake me feel better....
That said, the difference in fans is what makes this place fun and frustrating as well.

Yep, the variety of opinions keeps this place interesting. We are fanatics, but to players and coaches....it's a job. Not many jobs pay millions to toss a ball around. We are fanatics, but to players and coaches....it's a job. February for me.I will see you there. 11:00 am right?
you also don’t make millions of dollars year.Thankfully, 100,000 people didn't gather to watch me do my job and critique every little move I made. Or get drunk on the sofa, yelling at me on the TV and spitting nacho crumbs on the poor dog.

Fans don't have to buy tickets etc...that's the beauty of it....we have a choice....players don't, they'll be cut in a heartbeat when the brass is done with them.Good Post, but you left out one very important aspect. FANS buy the tickets, fans buy the Team merchandise, fans watch the TV, which pay the NFL billions of dollars to broadcast...
It may be a Job for the Players and Coaches but its the FANS that make it all possible to include paying the bills....
Fan = Fanaticmost people's problem is they put too much feeling into something they can not control.
yep, they are no way they can function in society when they get mad crazy about a player. I know I would not want them dating my mom, sister, or daughter.Fan = Fanatic
It's not supposed to be some numb blase, unconscious activity.
Having said that...we do have some rapid uncivilized overly aggressive behavior here by some people. Just here to bully and insult other fans.
