If I owned a team, I would tell the HC and the OC, I want 10 bombs away thrown at him and even under throw those because he will not look back and if you do not comply both jobs are history after the game. LOL

Doubt it. That's one bad game with flag happy refs. You can say AB had 2 poor games, and there's other players who've had more that aren't in jeopardy of losing their spot.
And based on Jerry comments he didn’t see it as brown being the problem

After that display on Thanksgiving, I firmly believe that AB has now become the "instant pass interference" first down for opposing teams. All they have to do is throw it up in his general direction and the refs will be all be competing to get their flags out. Two of the calls on Thanksgiving were legit. One was borderline and the other was plain ridiculous and was clear it was only called because of "reputation." The one where Brown ran with the receiver and the guy reach out and grabbed his helmet was terrible. Brown actually never did make contact with the guy until the guy grabbed his head. But the flags came out immediately. Then Steratore with the "he didn't get his head around" BS.. He couldn't get his head around because the receiver had hold of it!!! Brown will lead the NFL in PI for the rest of this season.. Book it.. They will have to bench him to get it to stop. Similar to what they had to do with Williams.
3 shouldn’t have been called. If his nabe was revis or Sherman and he did the exact same thing, he may get one flag at the most.

.....or , a la ex-Cowboys corner Larry Brown, Mahomes will throw 2 interceptions into his gut in the Super Bowl, and some fool team will sign him to a huge contract.....we are still going to the super bowl, right?

Maybe he will take some pointers from Diggs on how to play the ball instead of the receiver

If only we had a suitable substitute. Then A Brown could get the Jaylon Smith treatment.

Brown had zero PI calls this year going into the Raiders game.
Tell me, did any team get called for more than 2 PI calls on Sunday.
No? Hmm, that's strange.

The corner is probably the toughest position to play.
You're on an island against speed demons with your hands literally tied.
People say "turn and look for the ball", but that's easier said then done, because you don't know where the ball is. Few things can happen on a pass play, and half of them are not good, if you're a corner back.

Wasn't this his first game with a PI call? Conner was getting flagged every game, multiple times. We have to see how things progress. It also depends heavily if Joseph looks ready to play or not.

Had Joseph not gotten on IR and missed all these games, he would probably be in by now taking over for Brown. But here we are.... we knew what ABrown was at the start of the season and he has not disappointed. fits better in the slot.

I agree with you, but all he has to do is turn his head around and play technique. Also, the coaches are to blame to think AB is a good corner back to play outside, when he has a history of PI penalties. Also, after the 3rd PI, why would Quin nor roll safety over the top so he is not left on an island again fort the rest of the game. This coaching staff has not made very good personal decisions all year! As of today they still confuse me.

Exactly!!!

If I was the head coach and saw a DB get flagged 3 times for PI while playing man coverage. Guess what? I am walking over to the DC and telling him to put somebody else at corner or stop playing man.

Brown is what he is. An average role player. He is the same player he was at Purdue. He needs to trust his speed and learn to play the ball in man coverage.

In coverage, Brown can be stiff to recover at the line of scrimmage and relies on his hands to get back into the play. That will be a flag in the NFL. Brown has to learn to better time his hip turns and to use his 4.35 speed to make plays.

Just an average tackler, Brown doesn't offer much in run support. He allows himself to be blocked out of the play and isn't a reliable protector on the sideli
Spot on analysis and I hope Kelvin Joseph is ready sooner than later.
