this definitely isn’t how it works. There’s a reason why every Sportsbook has similar lines yet the action on their games are nowhere near identical ..so no

You're delusional. I've forgotten more about the sportsbook business than you could hope to learn in 5 lifetimes.

Adjusting lines, following other casinos lines, the action they're taking in and how they reacted. I had it down to where if I saw a casino adjust one of their lines, I knew what other casinos would follow suit and which ones wouldn't an why. All the the people I worked with that went on to be managers and sometimes directors I keept up with and would go visit at sportsbooks they worked in and would ask me my advice on the line movement. I've worked with some of the pioneers that were still around when Sportsbooks weren't even in casinos yet. And we all did it the SAME...DAMN...WAY!!!

And I know you didn't watch that interview I posted because you didn't have enough time in between responses. If you would have the balls to watch it, you'd get just a slice of who I've known, who I've met, who I've shared advice with and the people who trained and taught me how this industry is run. I've worked in the sportbook, slots, and food and beverage. I can tell you how the casino side of it is run from top-to-bottom and sideways. I've been trained by people who were connected with the MOB for Christ's sake.

Like I said. Watch that interview and you'll get a small taste of the people I've known, worked with and helped mold me in this town since the very day I turned 21.

After that, if I can't get you to even remotely think for even a few seconds afterwards that you just might be spewing nonsense in spite of what ya learnt on da interweb about Vegas, or what you've been told by Lord knows who, just maybe there are people out there that seriously know what theyre talking about, then theres no hope for you. But just rememer that everytime you type it, say it out loud, or even think it. Just know that I'm out there somewhere saying, "You're still full of ****."

Trivia question for everyone. What did the term "86'd" originally mean? And no it wasn't every time an F-86 shot down an enemy plane during the Korean war which made it popular. It was actually used before that in Las Vegas. But what did it mean? I learned this from some of the old timers in Vegas.

And Go!!

Here's another one that played a part in molding me just didn't know how it works either.

Rudy Spinosa who helped open the Tropicana and stayed their until a couple of months before he died.

Here's some tidbits in interviews he did all the time when I was at the Trop.

"When asked about the early days of the Tropicana and its ties to reputed mobsters Frank Costello or Johnny Roselli, Spinosa glosses over the subject and moves right into talking about how the property was the classiest casino on the Strip when it opened. His eyes widen when he discusses Old Vegas and how things used to be."

Here's another one.

"That's why I say, when I thanked the people who hired me, God bless their body parts, wherever they are."

Well, here's hoping Vegas is right about this one!

We're due for something good to happen . . .

Not that it really means that much!
Anyway, Go, Cowboys!

Let’s try staying on topic. Unless that’s too difficult for your incompetent brain.

the handle on the Ohio state Michigan game were 85-90% + on osu at every single book, yet the line dropped from opening at 8 to below 7 to 6.5 and even 6 by kickoff at some books. So explain why that happens. And it happens regularly.

You seem to want this wrapped up neatly with a bow on top. There are so many variables that I could go into but you don't want to hear them. So I'll try my best to keep it simple for you.

Do you know who a"sharp bettor" is, or just a "Sharp"? Learned it, lived it and loved it.

Now read these articles before you continue and I could tell you of my dealings with them, their dealings with Sportsbook Directors, and how they work hand-n-hand to make a VERY good living and make money for the Sportsbook and it's employees. I could tell you ways that me and many others took advantage of this with a simple line change for or information provided by Sharps. But that would bore you so...

Now I can tell you that I had the pleasure of meeting Jackie Gaughn who was a one time co-owner with the most notorious gambler in American history. A man who got his start in the one and only Dallas TX and transformed Las Vegas forever. A ruthless man who murdered and broke bones of others. Benny Binion.

The people who taught me about the betting industry and how Sportsbooks operate were people who worked with or were groomed by the likes of the names in the links above and all the names you'll see in those links.

Now I'm going to be away from this board for at least a month to prepare for a major operation. But if you can send me a PM, If you want to keep this nonsense going. Provided I live of course.

But before I go I can tell you that I also had the pleasure of meeting former Las Vegas Mayor and "Attorney to the Mob" Oscar Goodman when the Mob Museum opened at the Trop. He briefly chatted with me and it turned out we knew a few of the same people. His wife is now Mayor because his term limit was up but he was so popular that we voted for her to be the new Mayor. (Pssst. There's a reason we voted for her and why we voted for Oscar as long as he could run)

But the bottom is and always will be, as close to 50-50 as you can muster.

Good luck with the operation buddy....I totally thought for a brief second after reading your posts that "major operation" was a code for some sort of heist or sting!

Cool info, thanks for sharing your experiences
