I understand a fine, but suspending for punching a helmet is silly.

Appeal expeditiously and show them the Toney tape, should be an easy reversal since Toney wasn't suspended.

Between the league’s biased enforcement of “rules” and the referees having explicit immunity, why do I even still watch this sport? Hold these idiots accountable
I totally agree man the NFL product sucks and it has for the last half dozen years but since I'm a diehard Cowboy's fan and a sucker for NFL football I will keep watching cause that's what I do.

The cowboys are the most penalized team inthe NFL. I think this peaks volumes about the coaching staff. T. hill is part of the problem as well. He another 2nd round plyer that will not amount to anything.

I admit I piled on Hill for not doing anything in the past, but did anyone actually watch him vs. LV? He had a pretty solid performance.

All of that other stuff you mention I consider normal fan stuff and I'll chime in here or there with those. What I don't consider normal is literally creating a whole new alternate reality to fool one's self or outright lie to shoehorn victim status on the team when we simply just lost a game. So I like to show up with evidence to the contrary to see what people do with that. I'm curious about human nature that way and fascinated about what we all need to believe at times and why. It just seems childish to pretend something is or isn't there because things didn't go the way you wanted.
Right on. Appreciated!

He had the tag of being immature before being drafted and he continues to prove he was another Dallas wasted 2nd round draft pick. The guy is a bum and is all too telling.

not one bit!!

they can yell and teach until they are blues in the face..it happens and its more on the refs we all saw about half those penalties were ridiculous against the raiders..

its an NFL issues , speaks to the inconsistency that Roger goodell has brought to to all facets of the league and its peaked at an all time low since the scab refs were here..its horrible the roughing calls like again last night and the no calls on many PIs and then calls for pis that were iffy at best is so out of control its becoming a joke..memes are being made for the nfl and its refs..hills suspensions a joke, like Zekes, the other guy initiated it he knocked the helmet off and walked away, fine yes suspension for 2 games insane..

whats a coach to do its not one players, its all over..they bench Cwill then what all the other linemen still getting penalized. If he benched everyone for excessive penalties we would be able to field a team at this point..so ignorant to think coach has control of this..he can make it point of emphasis and try to get the players top listen but at soem point it on the players and the league,..

the refs are horrible this year, never seen it worse..they feel every penalty subjective, its not its either a penalty or its not, no grey area and the more the teams and players complain the worse it gets..its as if the refs are defensive about the criticism instead of getting better they are out there just chucking the yellow and making some games 4 hrs long..its ugly

like suspensions and punishment's now the refs are so inconsistent and makes no sense how thy are calling games from game to game and crew to crew..

Brown had zero penalties in 10 games and one game refs just abused him, so what coach should be bale to see that coming? no efin way!

I could see him getting one game, but after not giving Toney a single game after he punched Kazee it makes it pretty clear that the NFL has it out for Dallas.

Numerous players have gotten slapped in the wrist while Zeke got the book tossed at him as well.

This punch was a $10,815 fine and not a suspension as well

Ditto here as well.

i could expect one game suspension at the least ... but two ?
it's not like Hill swung his helmet at a helmet-less John Simpson, ..he took a punch to a guy that was wearing his helmet.

Anyone who says there are not different rules and an agenda against Dallas is burying their head in the sand. Goodell has it out for us and he dictates this to the refs. We see rules that have hardly ever been called in history get pulled out for Dallas, including in a playoff game. We get double standards for this all the time. Jerry Jones gives zero cares because he is raking in the money. He talks a good game but in the end, he is a spineless weasel who lets Goodell crap all over this dedicated fanbase.

now from the tweet reported, wasn't it Jon Runyan per NFLPA rep that investigated the incident and initiate the report to the NFL league office ?

What the heck?
1. What got him that mad?
2. Why was he suspended and other team's players not suspended for the very same thing?
3. Refs are after us. (Is not confirmation bias at this point.)

Wait the giants WR THREW A PUNCH , but can't land a punch to save his life but still threw it, yet the guy who connected gets 2 game suspension and a larger fine. He should have gotten a pay raise. This league is soft.

Yeah, one took place live on camera, where the kids sitting at home could clearly see it. The other took place after the game, in the background.

on CAMERA is WORSE.
The difference is reaction vs. Premeditation. The law recognizes this principle, why shouldn't the NFL?

You're right not the same as it could be argued that the one in-game should be considered the worse offense.. since it could have caused a guy to miss the rest of the game with an injury if he got knocked down and suffered a concussion or if the punch landed under the chin and broke his jaw or something.
And all those possibilities still existed when hill swung on him after the game, only worse since the raider was unsuspecting and the reasonable expectation of 'protect yourself at all times' during the game had been dropped.

My guess is something started in the trenches during the game and Hill didn't want to let it go. Either way he should have gotten a fine and not a suspension. If anything the only thing Hill risked was breaking his own hand since Simpson had his helmet on.
