-Similar to the Cowboys have lost a few recent games due to many injuries on the offensive side of the football. Have been playing with their 3rd string QB and running backs. Losers of 3 in a row, extremely important game for them to stay in the postseason race. They will have Hill and their 2 top runners back.

-Cowboys are just 2 games ahead of Washington, with 2 huge games looming, they must get back to playing better football or the division lead will be lost in a hurry. Their schedule looks much easier on paper.

-Saints are without Michael Thomas and don't have any outside receivers that will scare any team, which is why they have to generate the big play finding ways to get Alvin Kamara in space. The Cowboys must know where he is at all times. Lewis in the past did a good job shadowing him.

-This will be another stiff test for our run defense, not only Kamara, but Taysom Hill and Ingram are back. Have to do well against the read option and be disciplined in gap control. Force Hill to beat us via the air, not on the ground.

-Saint Defense dominated the Cowboys the last time they played. They are arguably the best run defense in the entire league and have two legit pass rushers off the edge. Their DC will come after the QB in obvious passing situations. Win on the early downs is vital for success.

-The best way to attack them is through the air. Having an healthy group of receivers could be a huge advantage. Spread them out and force them to tackle well in space. Don't be afraid to attack Lattimore.

-This is a game where the Cowboys need to make it fast paced as possible, force the Saint offense to chase the scoreboard, not the other way around.

Saints are desperate and at home. Dallas is reeling. If Cooper plays— I think Dallas can find enough plays to put 20+ points on the board. If Coop sits again— I think this game gets harder to win.

Athletic QBs can give this D fits. Can we slow down the run? Tackle Kamara in space? Contain Hill and make him beat us from the pocket?

Big HFA for NO. They also have a coaching advantage— though Quinn’s familiarity with Payton may be a nice X factor for the Dallas D.

The Taysom Hill wildcard is what scares me other than Kamara on their O, outside of that we should be good. Defensively they are underrated IMO... going to be a tough day for our O I expect.

I don’t know much about the Saints except they seem to have a top 5 defense when they are healthy. It appears their top 2 defensive ends will be out this game because they have not practiced in a few weeks. They are going to try to run the ball down our throats and control the tempo. It appears that Kamara will play but he is still limited in practice. We can win this game but our offense will have to come to play. Fans will say this game is on Dak but I say the key will be our offensive line.

My guess is our defense plays well enough to get the win, but theirs plays better and shuts down our bipolar offense.

This will be the game Hill and Kamara don't play only to be lit up by Siemian and Ingram

Minor detail but the Saints have lost 4 in row. They are very desperate. The guy who really worries me is Ingram. He is a hard runner who will drag people for a few yards if you don't tackle well. The Cowboys do not tackle well. Those runs fire up his team. The Cowboys need to get tough for this game.

I think the Saints will be missing 3 starting offensive linemen, including their two starting tackles. We'll have to see at game time.

I understand we are all a little wary of the Cowboys because of the way they have played lately. The offense and defense have been inconsistent. But this is a game they should win. If the Cowboys lose to the Saints we should be very concerned. I do agree they need to get healthy. Getting CeeDee back this week helps, but it would be even better if Cooper can at least play a few downs. They say he has a cough. That doesn't seem bad, but I guess it depends on how bad his illness was and how it effected him physically. Still, if they can just get him on the field to draw some coverage away from CeeDee and Gallup it would help Dak who has struggled with his decisions lately.

While it seems like guys like Gallup, Wilson and Brown are nice depth/role player WR....it was a big problem when they were needed in leading roles.

We need Lamb and Cooper out there, and anyone who gives big money to any of the others will regret it.

Our defense has trouble with elusive QB's. May need to spy 2 players on Hill.. Kind of serious on that though.

With Kamara back, and Ingram and Hill that is 3 RB's need to worry about. This could be one of those games where a QB like Hill has a career game, they always do against us.
To be truthful I am a little concerned over this the way the entire team has been performing. This will not be an easy game.

I’m not buying that their tackles are out, Armstead played last Sunday and Ramczyk practiced Monday but missed Tuesday.

Same with Kamara and Hill. Prime time game, it’s Dallas and they’ve lost 4 straight.

Saints will follow the template. Stop the run and make Dak beat you.

Coin toss.
2 losses dak played great put up a ton of points and lost, why,. its calked the defense allowing 36 points last game and against the bucs no defense

Its really hard to put that on dak unless you are troll hater..the entire team failed in Denver so thats not on dak although he had bad game, doubt if he played well we would have won, no defense at all what was the run yards and top in this game forget but 200+ yards?.. so KC game dak was shaky but the ol, wrs dropped lie 7 passes, no run game, oddballs' play calls etc etc were all also to blame..

really hard to find a game where no mater how dak played it was him that lost the game..

that so called blueprint only works because our defense also forgets to play in at least 2 of the games..those 2 losses are on the defense , period end of story..sure if dak played better against Denver and kc maybe we lose by few less points but we still lose..its been many variations of issues in all 4 losses and none can point directly at one layer ie the hated kicker, or the qb, or the coaching..

Good thread

2 predictions

1. We will make Hill look like Brees

2. If we lose it will not be Daks fault even if he throws 3 picks and fumbles twice

If Cooper plays at all, I think it'll likely be sparingly. Even without him, we should have enough talent to win this thing if we bring our "A" game.

The NO crowd will be very loud, as usual, and we'll, certainly, need to use hand signals if we want to get our signals straight when on offense.

Hell I’m happy if he’s out there just running go routes to take Lattimore away
