Zeke beat him, that was a bad throw.

Zeke didn’t ‘beat’ anybody, much less the opponents top corner. If that was his first option, it was a terrible play all followed by a bad decision by the quarterback. None of it was smart.

A QB that has been starting for 5 years shouldn't have to say he needs to do those things, he should be doing them. It is OK to throw it away and to eat it when the risk down the field is greater.

This reminds me of those Romo post games, "we've got to get better at that". What the hell does that even mean?

Romo suffered from "got to score" syndrome so he took chances to make plays and wasn't willing to give up on one and Prescott reminds me of how he played. It is a team and sometimes the O and the D just have to depend on each other.

The fact that the run game is not working is also creating the problem of game control and sustaining drives. Prescott and the Cowboys offense feel they have to be a big play offense.

Figures. Everyone talks about how Jerry and Kraft are two of the most powerful owners but we still seem to always get fleeced.
Well, I was expecting the officials to make up for that blindside block call earlier in the game, and that pretty much covered it

Dak seems allergic to running back checkdowns.

This is correct, but also the scheme is at times garbage.

last night, and I think it was the play right after Schultz was injured. They had a 3rd and long (7+ yards), and they had 3 receivers running 15+ yard patterns. Saints blitz, throw away, series over.

Peyton Manning : “your offense is only as good as what your check downs are.” Does this offense even utilize these? Instead of trotting out one legged Zeke, any chance Boy Genius can use TP in the pass game?

conspiracy?
It seems to be coming out of the shadows more and more. Zeke breaks the cardinal rule and is quoted saying we had to beat them and the refs. MM is openly discussing calls with the NFL to get it fixed. Coaches on the sidelines are telling the players to play clean and not do anything that could possibly get called as a penalty.

No Moore is what we need. Why he isn't using Pollard like the Chiefs use Tyreek Hill is baffling to me. Misdirection plays in the run game work like a charm in this league. And we all know this team looks way better when we run the ball effectively. Losing Moore would be an addition by subtraction.

I couldn't agree more. KM has regressed, like running the jet sweep twice with Lamb. 3rd and five the Jet sweep is too risky.

“As I’ve said, I’ve got to stay disciplined, just playing it play by play and not try to put the dagger in them and knock them out of the game.”

I hope he sticks to that, because there were several times where he was clearly pressing. There’s a balance between taking your shot and being reckless. It used to be that Dak was afraid to take that shot, but last night he crossed over into reckless a few times.

And I’ll never get why he or Moore thought attacking Latinate was a good idea. One on one with Zeke? Seriously? And that forced throw down the middle was ‘rookie mistake’ level of bad.
The "forced throw" down the middle that was intercepted was actually a designed play. It would have worked perfectly and for a huge gain (CeeDee actually got behind the DB) if Tyron Smith had actually done his job and blocked the pass rusher who hit Dak hard on his facemask before he released the pass, thus forcing the pass to come up short.
