The criticism is fair of Elliott. I want to think it has several factors including his current health and OL issues.

Our OL which has often been considered our strength hasn’t been performing at its normal level in the running game or protecting our QB.

Fair?
How about Pollards 2 yard runs.
His stupid decisions to run it out of the end zone.
yes he finally had a KO TD, but how many times did he cost us as well.

Yes Zeke needs rest.
Pollard had his chances last year and gets more carries this year. But he has yet to truly take over a game.

But yet all the Pollard slobberers keep insisting he is better.

This forum has at the worst fans on it.

Fix the OL, fix the run game, as well the pass game, yes, agree on that.

I havent seen the argument Pollard is better. At least not in this thread. He’s just providing more opportunity for big plays and production at this time .

If we can’t fix the OL immediately and Zeke is hurting then he should be rested . We need him healthy for the playoffs. Let’s see if Pollard can carry the load.

Roy can be very critical and direct and while the end results of Zekes production is mostly accurate he also noted in a reply to me it’s because of his health and the OL. That’s not trolling.

BS, he trolls me constantly.
He is not direct with any conversation without his hate.
He will not admit it is because of any health issues.
You can look at it differently, but I disagree.

Any way he is on ignore. For like the 10th time. Every time I take him off, he starts right back in.

I thought you said he was trolling Zeke. You should read all of his post just not his replies to you. He responded and agreed with me that our OL was the biggest concern along with his health.

Roy and I often differ in our opinions and he has been critical of Zeke but in this case it’s deservingly so . Could he be more diplomatic . Of course but that’s not his style. Bottomline is right now Pollard is providing us more.

You call it hate. I call it hard criticism.

While this wasn’t an overly impressive win it was nevertheless an important win on the road which at least puts us back on course to controlling the division with a huge matchup next week upcoming which could all but seal the title for us.

If we had lost then the emergency sirens would have sounded with the division on the line next Sunday . While we still obviously have many concerns as we attempt to redial our earlier success this year we can at least see when all of our offense weapons returning adds to our production while our defense also returned to its earlier turnover productivity which I might argue is the key to this teams success moving towards the playoffs with an otherwise average defense that needs to be carried by a high powered offense.

Now we can take a sigh of relief as we look ahead to Wash in a game they desperately need to stay in division race while we could basically close the door with a 3 or 4 game lead pending their contest on Sunday vs Raiders.

I agree with your post.

People are acting like we were at full strength, but Cooper was far from 100%, DLaw was not 100%, still missing Gregory, Zeke not close to 100%, Steele might be better than Collins, etc.
And, if people remember week 2, a full-strength New Orleans team gets blown out by the Panthers- the excuse? Half of the coaching staff was out with Covid. Well, half of our staff was out with Covid, and we still won.
So, I will take the win, the mini-bye, and I am excited about the home stretch.

Zeke is not performing at the level we’ve grown accustomed over the years . The reasons can be discussed but the bottomline persist.

Hard criticism is often difficult to digest. And we have someone who could provide him some rest.

If Zeke isn’t providing positive production why not rest him for the playoffs . Let’s see if Pollard can carry the load. Maybe he won’t be as effective if he carried it 20-25 times a game.

So you are his personal advocate?
Go ahead you will not convince me otherwise.
I do read his posts, maybe not everyone, but who does read every post on here.

It can be criticism, but there is a way to do it respectfully. He does not when he responds to me.
Go ahead and defend him, but stop responding to me about it.

IMO he spews hate toward me about Zeke as well toward Zeke.

Cowboys fans can dislike a win more than any other fandom.

That wasn't the Sisters of Mercy JV team they were playing in their lair last night. They were ready for a fight and while they were outmanned, they did just that.

Take this win and be glad their 8-4 and still have a 2 game lead and the pressure is now on the WFT or they fall 3 behind and are no longer in charge of their own destiny, they will need help to win the East.

The Cowboys are also 6-1 in the conference, which is the best in the NFC and tied with NE for the best in the NFL.

This was a very important and necessary win for the Cowboys last night and they earned that victory. Don't try and tarnish it, they were in a street fight.

We won and left the game with the same problems we had before.

Cowboys are trending down because Kellen Moore has no answers for press man coverage.

No,I’m not his personal advocate. I feel his criticism is justifiable. Could he present it more diplomatically . Of course . Perhaps it just his style you disapprove of. Have a good day!

“I’ve seen very few teams that win divisions or Super Bowls that don’t start fast, so we start fast. Usually we reach a point in the middle where we are sagging, but we always have to finish strong”
