What does Pollard have to do?

To earn more opportunities?

After scoring a 58 yard touchdown on a big run in the 3rd quarter one would think he would have more than 2 carries in the final 4 possessions.

Why so few touches after breaking off a long run? This isn't the 1st time Moore has gone away from him. In the KC game, Pollard's 1st touch broke off 31 yards. He then only got 6 other carries.

Outside of pollards big runs he and Zeke have nearly identical yards per carry averages so why not feed the 1 guy who has shown the ability to break off the bigger runs? I'm not saying he needs 20+ carries but 12-15 would seem to be earned.

It’s painfully obvious to everyone but a few fans who think a fullbacks skill set is more important for a offense than explosive plays.

What is happening is this is shedding a big bright light on a major problem in Dallas.

They would rather send out 1 legged hobbling Zeke and not give Pollard a bigger opportunity because of a contract.

Why don't we just keep Gallup at roughly Elliott's contract and jettison Elliott and draft a couple new backs in the mid rounds? RBBC with Pollard the lead back

It wouldn't matter if he was Derrick Henry and zeke got one of his legs chopped off.

Jerry says Zeke carries the load and that's that

He has to have more than just one good run?

I actually think it's inexcusable he didn't just play the whole game. Watching zeke hobble around broke my heart. I also thought at LEAST after the big run keep that going.

But know this...that wasn't a STUPID run up the gut either. Both Zeke and Tony should demand some different plays.....it's like Kellen is running the one vanilla play up the middle then crying about the run game not working. I hate it.

He needs to earn more money. That is the only reason zeke is still playing. They are too stubborn to admit they made the mistake in giving him the huge contract.

If Jerry didn't lay it all on the line when zeke got suspended, zeke would no longer be on this team.

In the last few couple years, the only games where zeke is effective are games where the oline plays well.

Pollards pass blocking is fine. It’s not some weakness and most of the time these guys check and go on a route anyways.

You guys want a fullback in our backfield running the ball. I’ll take a playmaker that makes plays and doesn’t waste them.

I'd def be using him more too, but let's not act like the majority of his opportunities recently haven't been 1 or 2 yards just like Zeke.

Tony's not a horrible pass blocker, Zeke is just really, really good.

Pollard wouldn’t be as good if he was carrying the load. Felix Jones wasn’t as good and neither was Marion Barber when they carried the load.

This really isn't the correct question. The real question is, can we release EZ after the season w/o killing the salary cap?

Who replaces Zeke? Don't say Pollard because that is the wrong answer.

We still need defense help and Oline help. Drafting a RB just takes away from that.

He’s not a horrible pass blocker. He’s solid.

Also, what do you expect? Pollard to get 20 yards every touch?

It doesn’t matter if he gets shut down. Unlike Zeke there is still an opportunity every time he touches the ball.

If I’m going to get 1or 2 yards runs I’d at least like a tailback in the game with the upside to take it to the house vs my upside maybe being a yard or 2 extra. (Even though Pollard is elite after contact)

Pollard is getting a lot more opportunities now but some seem to want him to start ahead of Zeke. He’s not a good enough blocker and he wouldn’t be as affective carrying more of the load. Having fresh legs has helped him.
