Didn’t Minnesota get in trouble for switching on and off the air con during baseball games, depending who was at bat.. think it was back in the 80’s or 90’s??
i think so.
but i thought the vikes got in some trouble in the early 2000's for fake noise.

Nice going Reid, I'm surprised you didn't catch your mistake before pressing send.. **The Seatle Seahawks home games were infamous for "fake crowd noise" for years being piped in. They tried to credit the fans for the crowd noise by bestowing them with the moniker of TWELFTH MAN, claiming that their "fans" are so loud they can disrupt any opposing teams offense throughout the game.. Keep in mind, their stadium is OUTDOORS. Just imagine if they had the benefit of indoor acoustics?!

Everytime we got the ball and werec huddled up, saints had music blasting trying to get crowd roaring. They cut the music only as we got to the line. How is that even legal? I mean we were huddled and music blasting?

You can play music up until the opposing team lines up, but some teams obviously push the boundry as far as possible.

Now we are talking about music, not crowd noise. It is illegal to pipe in fake crowd noise but I imagine some teams still do it on the downlow. Like the saying goes, "if you aint cheating, you aint trying":D

We overcame this by bringing in the deaf squad.
