Well, honestly, there's along list of OCs and DCs who were fantastic at their craft but failed horribly at HC . I hate to say it but i dont see Moore as HC material.

I would be more worried about losing Quinn compared to Moore at this point given the overall improvement in the defense year-over-year compared to an offense that is seriously going backwards.

Who look confused on that sideline in New Orleans and who looked comfortable and in charge?
I mean, it helped that Quinn's defense was playing a preseason-level assortment of backups instead of a mostly intact, good starting unit like the offense faced. And it helped that the Saints did Quinn the favor of sticking with a QB who couldn't throw. And that they did Quinn the favor of abandoning the QB-run offense after Quinn proved he couldn't stop it.

But, sure.

I'd do the deep dive and say I don't think Moore is the problem.

I've always said this offense goes through Zeke. And Zeke is not 100%.
Problem two is QB1 admits he's trying to force things and not take what the defense is giving.
So I don't think it matters what Moore calls when he doesn't have Zeke and QB1 is doing his own thing.

Still, I'd be more worried about losing Quinn than Moore this offseason.

Just me.

Yes, 100%.

1. I’m not really interested in Dak learning a new offensive system. If we lose Moore and we keep the system the same then I’m less worried.
2. Offense goes as the OL goes. People too often attribute poor execution to play calling. Dak has been rushed, running holes haven’t been there, dropped passes, Dak has missed some throws since the calf injury, injuries all over the offense generally. None of that has to do with play calling.
3. He’s had the number scoring offense early in his play calling career. He is only going to get better.

Offense is currently bland, basic, and predictable.

The way we run the ball is just a waste of a play.

It’s been a month and still no answer for man coverage.

Tony Pollard should’ve had a 100 touches this past month with all the injuries to our big weapons. Getting him going in the passing game would’ve and could still be huge for this offense.

Getting Tony Pollard, Ceedee Lamb, And an occasional run from Dak here and there would go a long way for this team.
the answer to man coverage is a QB with a big time arm who trusts his receivers. :omg:

Moore can only do so much with a scared QB. Quinn will be wanting to try his hands a hc again if someone offers.

Quinn has been phenomenal and thankfully I don’t think anyone is going to want him as their head coach anytime soon.

I know this was a hot topic, even included firing McC to keep Moore. Still feel the same after seeing his play calling the last few games?

The one we should be concerned about losing is Quinn because there were some GM's really liking what they were seeing from him and his interaction with his players on that sideline jumped him up the ladder, I believe.

Kellen Moore was riding the crest of the wave but that hit the beach and has died out and he has more talent on his side of the ball than Quinn but which coach is making the most out of what he has?

Who look confused on that sideline in New Orleans and who looked comfortable and in charge?

I still think Moore has a bright future but he needs to fix the problems of the present because this team rides the offense, and that run game, as far as it will take them and gaining 5 on 1st down when trying to eat some clock and then throwing it twice to end the drive and only using 1:02 of the clock is not high level OC work.

I do not think you have to be concerned about losing Moore to a NFL HC job. That could change but his stock is down right now.

I'm less concerned about the plays he's calling and more concerned about the lack of execution of those plays.

The past few games KM has called have not been as good and i have come to the conclusion that although he is an ok OC, he is replaceable. He definitely is still not ready to be a HC at all. So it someone tries to snatch him up, then i guess, its hasta la vista, baby... The magic at the beginning of the season seemed to be more that the offense weapons were all healthy and other teams had not game planned the Dallas O as well as now. His "genius" has not figured out recently how to use his weapons to their maximum potential. Thus, the offense has sputtered. I think Dak's injuries are having an impact now, and have severely hampered the offense also. To sum it up.....KM can stay or he can go....up to him, and Jerry. Fine either way. But in Jerry's mind, he will do all he can to keep his clutches on him. Where else can he get a puppet like him?

Hard to say. I think most see our offensive problems lying at the feet of injuries and our OL not our OC and or our QB.

I’d agree with Quinn assessment . Again, our defense is much different when creating turnovers . If not, look average at best.

Everyone wants to hire that red hot coordinator thinking they will fix all their problems. These coaches usually ascend quickly before opposing teams figure out how to slow them down. Moore is at a crossroads where he has a struggling running game and managing a one dimensional team. A lot of that is on him and if he wants to take the next step he'll have to figure it out. There's way too much offensive talent to be struggling in this way. I get the offensive line hasn't blocked particularly well, but there should be enough talent there to mask 2 weak spots.

For every Moore out there, they have a slim chance to become a McVay and a great chance to become a Jay Gruden

Moore is in a rut just like the rest of the offense is. His play calling might be more affective if the O-Line showed up to play. It appears that the O-Line might be better off going back to Williams since it looks all out of whack since McGovern has been inserted into Williams' spot.

We have had multiple injuries in the offensive line, including to a Hall of Fame left tackle. We have played multiple games with our star wide receivers hurt, injuries to running backs, and injuries to the quarterback. I wouldn’t be surprised that should all of these players get healthy again that Kellen Moore will suddenly become a genius offensive coordinator once again.

Moore has been stuck in this exposed offense for almost 4 games now .
In the NFL you cant do that .

I would love to see Moore be HC in Giants or WFT . As OC he needs to improve, & needs more experience . If he is under MM then okay .

Im sad Giants fired Garrett ... its not fair , they should have waited 10 years to make that decision .
