Too bad the offense has officially peaked and been exposed. The O-line cannot be fixed at this point in season, Dak’s calf injury messed him up mentally, and Zeke is just injured and needs to be sat for a game of two even tho Jerry’s drunk arse doesn’t see that.
Your post is one of the most negative I have ever seen on this board. I believe the offense can and will improve!
How much they can is the huge question.
Go Cowboys

Don’t bother replying to that guy. We could be 17-0 and he would be talking about the incoming implosion

I’m sorry dude. Respect your optimistic outlook but this team isn’t getting that far. I know you said team can win a SB it’s just that this offense is lousy right now and it’s not going to switch back to pre Denver play. The offense peaked and many teams go through it every season.

In a sense its two different seasons.
The offense peaked? Lol. I love when people don’t look at the whole picture. The offense didn’t peak. They lost key players and played 3 games in 12 days with little practice time. Expect this offense to put on a show against WFT next Sunday. Of course your agenda won’t let you see any of the facts I just stated because you want to be able to say Dak stinks lol. But hey. It’s my opinion.

It’s also my opinion.

The offense peaked. A lot has happened on that side of the ball. I don’t need to rehash all that happened. Everyone knows.

I believe the defense will carry this team going forward.

Our defense should be going to the next level very soon then.

A big weakness I see right now is those mid level crossing routes against man coverage. They’re just running a WR across the field and that’s very tough for a corner to guard against in man.
I know most want Parsons on the line every play, but his speed is also an attribute we should use in the middle of the field. He can do it all. Love to see him gather up a few picks to cement him as DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR.

Bossman needs to play more, he has the speed and quickness to play man to man and cover the inside routes or the deep vertical threats.

Good deal. Let’s stay healthy and gel together. Something we haven’t been able to do..

So, which two players will be cut to make room for them? I guess Hamilton will be one. Kamara the other one? Unless some players catch a cold or there are some injuries.

They add the practice squad call up players to the roster listing each week; therefore, I'm not certain which players are actually practice squad players and which are actually on the 53.

LB ….. F.Bernard (Top 5 in ST snaps played the past 5 games)
WR ….. S.Fehoko (Might still be on practice squad)
TE ….. J.Sprinkle (Does play some snaps on offense. Significant ST contributor based on snap counts).
DE ….. A.Kamara (I think he is on the 53 now).

Definitely PS player but listed on the roster because he was called up for the Saints game.
S ….. T.Coyle

Maybe he has, but is there really much of a fit for him with Hill/Osa/Gallimore/Watkins in the rotation? Unless Watkins is a DE, he's gotta be a NT right??
Hamilton has been a solid rotational NT. I would cut Kamara and Francis Bernard.

DT Hamilton has played over 40% of the snaps on defense in 5 or the past 6 games.

To be fair...Dallas beat a depleted Saints team with a gimmick quarterback throwing with a bad finger...and most importantly, without Alvin Kamara. IOW...it was always an offense that should never really threaten them. They were +3 in turnover differential but the game felt much closer (especially after Prescott's INT) until Watkins collected the most egregious of Hill's four INTs.

They struggled to put away a team that is going in the wrong direction. In the playoffs they will face teams with REAL quarterbacks. We will see how chuck ball works then.

I wouldn't mention this team in the same sentence as the word Superbowl. Not right now. God don't like ugly...as my mama used to say.

Okay, but you do realize that losing a head coach is a big deal as well right? The Saints were in desperation mode in a place that is very tough to get a win.. To discredit this win because they had some players hurt is ludicrous, it's the NFL for crying out loud... The Cowboys as an entity are not firing on all cylinders together as a team at the moment, but there is still time to change that narrative...

Maybe 55 . Bernard at least gets in on ST tackles. 55 is playing like it’s business decision not to get too involved
I hope that other teams see the same thing and don't reward him with a big contract. But inevitably some bottom feeder like the Jets or Jags will sign him for 8 figures a year long term because he was a name a few years ago and a mid/high first round pick. That's why bottom-feeder franchises stay that way long term.

No too much film on him . Look at # 9 the Packers pay him minimum keep him 2 weeks then he’s cut. LVE will get nibbles and small offers maybe the Texans. Andy Reid likes ex Cowboy LBers maybe him and Spagnaulo the DC can squeeze some toothpaste out of 55

Rain and 30+ mph wind gusts for next Sunday in DC.
We'll need a run game and good defense if the forecast holds.

Yep, and to think you just jumped right off the team bandwagon again right when its about to get good.

Im definitely going to enjoy running you through the ringer as we move forward getting healthy.

I suggest handing the ball to 24 will feature heavily in the DC offense

Good luck with that one too. He's going nowhere either. Lawrence is our best run defender. With Gregory back and without needing Parsons on the end he will be back to stalking the middle and blitzing the middle.
