The Cowboys control their destiny. They have a two game lead in the NFC East with five games left; including two against WFT.

Beat them and the Giants the next two weeks, and Dallas is 10-4 and the race is all but officially over.

Dak is 7-1 vs. Washington, the only loss a 20-17 decision in 2018. Of course Prescott missed both games against WFT last year.

I'd like to remind everyone this team should be 10-2.

The Bucs and Raiders games were officiated to steer those opponents to victory. Period.

All this consternation is warranted only because of the above.

We will win the division and be at full strength for the playoffs- but watch out for Dez catch-es or illegal huddles; snap infractions, EZ PI's etc. once we get there.

If I remember correctly Logan Thomas just destroyed the Cowboys in 2020's Thanksgiving game. I feel bad that he's injured but it's one less weapon for the defense to have to worry about.

And the Bucs and Raiders game were called by Shaun Hochuli and his crew. And I don't think the results penalty-wise are a coincidence either.

Fellow Cowboys fans, this is what we want. So WFT and the Eagles won today. Big deal. I don't care.

If the 2021 Cowboys are the team we want them to be, let them go out these last five weeks and earn the NFC East title. Never mind sitting around hoping other teams take down our rivals. The Cowboys control their own fate. Let's see a 13-4 record going into the playoffs.
