Good luck with that one too. He's going nowhere either. Lawrence is our best run defender. With Gregory back and without needing Parsons on the end he will be back to stalking the middle and blitzing the middle.

I like the sound of 11 meeting 24 for little or no gain. Maybe Kearse can get in on the fun with run support.

Does everyone realize that the Cowboys will have the assumed starting D-line for the very first time this season? They played the majority of the games without their entire starting D-line. The line has been composed of backups, some of them would not have made the team had it not been for the injuries to all the starters.

Game #13 may have Lawrence, Gallimore, Hill, and Gregory finally playing together. I don't expect them to all start at first, they will be brought into the rotation. However, we are talking about re-acquiring the services of a #2 draft pick and 3 #3 draft picks, all on the D-line.

Now add in Parsons at LB and the two safeties we have starting. Is that not a run defense preparing for the playoffs?

Perhaps Wilson comes back and we now have our top 4 receivers playing together. Add in Steele for more O-line depth, one way or another.

I'll say this again. The NFL has yet to see the Dallas Cowboys play this season.
Hopefully they gell quick..having everyone back doesnt immediately mean they play like we expect or should...the good thing is,fresh legs....we're gonna find out..

To slow down the Cowboy edge expect Antonio Gibson early and often in the run game

The Cowboys cannot run the ball, but if Prescott can do enough to win we can win the Super Bowl winning games like 24-13 or 20-10. Ugly but dominant on defense.
This defense does not strike me as one that can hold quality offenses to those kind of scores. I know they r getting healthy, but until they prove they con stop giving up so many chunk plays I won't believe it.

This d has lived off turnovers. But u can't count on guys like Rodgers to give you turnovers in the playoffs.

The way this team is constructed, the offense needs to perform well for them to succeed.

All this sounds good but if we don't play physical and everyone meet at the ball carrier. It's just that. Sounds good. Defense is even more of a mental state then a talent one. You have to want to crush someone. You have to want to be tough and play with a swagger. Dallas has a lot of fake swagger. IMO. You hit Dallas in the mouth they usually go home and leave their ball with you. That's tough but IMO it's the truth. We have to start equaling the intensity of our opponents. Dallas mainly thinks they can just show up. Everyone sees the stars on their helmet and quit. The opposite is really the truth. They want to knock those stars off your helmet. We have to show them. That is a mistake. Especially the O-line and D-line.

Not sure what Gallimore will provide not having played all season but it will be good to get him back. By all accounts he was having a great training camp until his injury.

I think the guys getting healthy is going to be more impactful than you think. We will have (maybe) the best pass rush in the league.

Can you imagine 3rd and long for Heineke? Lawrence coming from one side, Gregory the other and Parsons blitzing up the middle? Night night!!!!!
You forgot Gallimore pushing thru the middle as well. He was lighting it up in camp prior to the injury

Going to need the defense to carry this team going forward. I can't believe I am typing these words. 2000 Ravens, Baby.

With Dak at QB— the Cowboys have posted a 21-6 W/L record vs NFCE opponents. He has us playing good football vs our rivals. The WRs are back together. The DL is (finally) back together.

There are a lot of people throwing dirt on Dallas right now. Those same people will likely be talking about how WFT is not that good on Mon

Exactly whats going to happen. The offense was missing pieces over the last month and they all got thrown together on a short week. Give them this week to gel and we will see the pre bye offense back come sunday

The biggest concerns are the OL, and the health/dependence on Zeke right now. The OL has been struggling getting anything going in the run game— and Pollard is our best back but we continue to try and run Zeke between the tackles without much to show for it.

That said— with all 3 WRs back in action— we are in a much better position to “throw to set up the run” than we were for the last 5 weeks.
