The disparity of talent on offense and defense in favor of Dallas should result in a victory against WFT.
Our Defense should be able to reek havoc against the scrappy but average Hieneke.
The offense, with or without Zeke, should be able to do damage against their defense which is without Chase Young and Sweat.
But, the DC crowd will be jacked and we just can't let them get momentum and let this become a barnburner.
This will be an important game in determining if we are contenders or pretenders.
This is going to another ugly game. Washington will punch us in the mouth and historically, we are too busy crying and picking our teeth up versus standing back up and fighting.

I expect it to be much like the saints game,

on the road, hostiles environment, opponents defense is far better then offense and they will do all they can to keep it close an ugly it up..

sure should win but how the game goes might be bumpy..

fans DONT LIKE IT , i mean they hate wins now if they dont look clean and perfect..hate to break it to you, a win is great no matter how its achieved..

escape with win would be great against a divisional rival on 4 game win streak on the road.

my gut this will go a lot like the saints game and we win but fans will find way to be unhappy and call it and embarrassment. LOL

if we lose i will not come on here for at least 2 days!!

no way i want to hear the season over even though we have 4 lest and one game lead..
Bad news for us if it's like the Saints game as you predict because Washington does not have an injured WR/TE playing QB.

The Cowboys have a few issues to overcome so I don't know if the task at hand will be so easy. Our running game is not what it should be and the O-line has cracks in it. Dak is a little inconsistent and our WRs tend to get a case of the dropsies. And then there are the penalties.

In a nutshell, those are the things that concern me with our beloved team, the Cowboys.

I get all the arguments that this should be a tight game and a close score and all that. And maybe it will be. But if Dallas comes ready to play, this will not be a close game. It will be a blow out. The WFT has a couple of weapons on offense and a pair of really good DTs. But they are missing both of their starting DEs. Remember how that has effected Dallas? The Washington QB is a pesky little guy who can run for some first downs if they let him, but he isn't going to throw and 40 yard bombs downfield.

I think this game is up to the Cowboys. If they come out ready to play, they can name the score. If they come out flat again, then they deserve to lose this game and the division.

The Cowboys have all their receivers back and healthy. They have their offensive line back. They should have their starting DL back. The secondary had a confidence boosting game last week. Don't underestimate the positive effect winning in NOLA could have on the Cowboys. Zeke gets extra rest and Pollard is running as good as we have seen. If Moore understands getting him outside is a huge threat to any defense we can keep Washington from stacking the middle of the defense.

To me this game boils down to Dak. Which Dak do we get this week? The week 1 to 7 Dak or the Dak we saw against KC and Denver? Even if we get an in between Dak the Cowboys win by 2 TDs.

Washington has a good defense that is playing good team football right now but Dallas has too many weapons on offense and I don't think Washington can defend against all of them.

Should. They also should have beaten the Raiders soundly and the Saints. Saints game was much closer than the score showed. This team just might be another fraud team in the long line of fraud teams in the past 12 years the Cowboys had. Or they can go to Washington and show them this is their division and start to get right heading towards the playoffs. We shall see.

we were up by 17 in the 4th quarter, were we not?
The Bucs just won by 12 against the Falcons, but nobody will say that was closer than it should have been.

Not that it means a whole lot but we opened as 5 point road favorite. That surprised me. I figured it would be closer to 1 to 2 point fave given how Washington has won 4 in a row and we've been scuffling.

Lately good defenses have made our OL, QB, and coaching staff look freaking dysfunctional. This would be a great time to pull their collective heads out and put on a show of execution and competence.

I get so tired of this talent argument. It's a week to week league where the talent in the league is pretty equal.

We have amazing talent.

Admit it or find a new place to post.

Dallas rarely comes ready to play, and you can tell by how they start the game. Lackluster 1st quarters, very little early urgency. So the early game plans often suck. Moore and Quinn must be better, especially in these road games.

Is this about Dak? Of course, it always is. But we need better 1st quarters too, from both Moore and Quinn. They come out the gate "trying not to lose", instead of trying to dominate early with the advantages they have at key positions.

so you think their last second win against the Raiders is much more impressive than our OT loss to the Raiders? They have won 4 in a row... have they been stomping teams? Wins and losses are razor thin. Many times a 3 game win streak could have just as easily been a 3 game losing streak.

3 games in 12 days was not good for this team. The mini-bye after the saints game will hopefully allow the offense to figure out what has been going wrong and get everybody fully healthy. Yes, we should win this game.

I understand the sentiment here, but I don't believe the two are mutually exclusive. Yes, every team has talent, but the Cowboys are in the top 5-8 teams of talent/playmakers. Not many teams have as many difference makers on both Offense and Defense that the Cowboys have.

That doesn't make them unbeatable - playmakers still have to make those plays. But it means that when you play an off game against a terrible team like the Saints, the talent just has to make a couple of plays to make a difference.

It's the same thing with Washington - the Cowboys just have more playmakers. Washington is playing better the last 4 games than the Cowboys, which equalizes. But WFT has to bring their A game. The Cowboys can win with less than perfection.

Cowboys will win, but it will be a close one because our QB and running game have been lacking.

IM not a college football guy, but go look at Georgia's schedule and look at the opponents that they were smacking around to become the number 1 team. Tell me who on that schedule is a really good team. So they go 10-0 beating up a bunch of crappy to a couple decent teams, get ranked number 1, finally play their first talented team and they get smoked. This is why I do not like college football. Beating a bunch of crap by 40 plus each weekend isnt exactly exciting to me.
