Enjoyed the breakdown. Seems like Warner could be a solid QB coach.

As Warner mentions, Dak is now impatient at times. It seems he's not trusting what he's seeing like he did earlier in the season. When he does let it rip, he's made some fantastic throws to Gallup, Lamb, etc. He also seemingly doesn't trust the OL right now, and is rushing throws, throwing off of his back foot, not stepping into throws, has happy feet on some plays, etc. Some of this seems to coincides with his injury as well.

The OL has regressed in both pass and run blocking. Schultz's blocking has also been an issue...as has drops for some guys at various points.

While they're getting guys back that should positively impact the defense...I'm more concerned about them figuring out solutions on offense, regarding the OL, running game, settling Dak down, etc.

LOLLLL so the same bozo who dismissed someone for posting an opinion from Ed Werder.....

Is now citing Colin Cowherd’s opinion??????

Can’t make this garbage up.
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

I’ll repeat this for you since you’re slow.

NFL players, coaches and front office personnel were each polled this offseason.

Each group listed Dak Prescott among their top 8 NFL QBs.

BUT PLEASE, TELL ME MORE about what Colin Cowherd thinks this week!!!!

Just because Dak moves out of the pocket doesn’t mean he is under pressure.

What clips here did you see him under pressure? The majority of them are him giving up on the play too quickly.

You know the other team gets paid to go after him and he isn’t going to have all day to throw right? It’s not always going to be absolutely perfect and that’s the way he wanted it being the 40 million dollar man.
You gotta be kidding me. Try the first 3-4 clips alone. The pocket collapses or, at best, he has no room to step up. Brady on the other hand has a good foot on each side and two feet to his front to step through a throw. I'd love to see Warner do a side-by-side of pass plays of the two teams.

Im sorry but I’m just not seeing it. Maybe you could give a specific time of the 1 or 2 plays you may be talking about because the majority of these plays are on him.

You’re just doing this thing where you think football is this game where people play under perfect conditions. It’s not. Brady would do fine behind this oline.

Our Oline is more than good enough when Tyron Smith is in the game.

Just got finished watching. Good video. Thanks for posting @CATCH17

After watching, I think Dak played a little better than I first thought. It was disheartening seeing the Saints get such quick pressure even when only rushing 4. Tyron didn't seem to have the best game, which is surprising, but New Orleans does have a good line.

As others have mentioned, it does looks like Dak is rushing a little bit. Another second in the pocket and he could have made some bigger plays. Hopefully the protection can improve and he can start settling again. He's going through progressions too quickly.

Another thing I noticed is that some of the WR routes looked off. Good concepts, but just ran shallow or too close together. Not sure why were seeing this so late in he season.

He was a 4th round pick for a reason and that reason was his dual-threat ability.

He is terrified to run now, so we're left with a QB that would have never even been drafted if it was based on his ability to read defenses and pass the ball.
I agree 100%. But I don't think he's terrified. I think it's greed as he mentioned, lack of good judgment, and an overestimation of his 4th round arm. EVERY qb could help his team tremendously by running a minimal 6 times a game to make the lbs think. If you fear getting hurt but making 40 million a season playing a contact sport where the rules and the refs favor you.....just a dam shame.

We agree to disagree then. Dak sure seemed like a truck until the bye. The New England game comes to mind. But hey. You have your opinion I have mine. We both want the same thing. A Lombardi.
What a mature response.

Yea he had happy feet, was greedy. Not as bad as carr looked yesterday.

Carr is mediocre at best . Dak is upper echelon . Certainly better then the fools gold McVay bought into in LA. I’m amazed at all this Dak won’t run clap trap .

So he takes off once in awhile and gets you a first down big deal . And someone actually wants designed running plays for # 4 ? What so a Jabril Cox on the opposition can lay him out with neck injuries Danny Dimes has . Give me 350 yards multiple TD’s forget the Tim Tebow Taysom Hill imitations .

He does roll out early on some plays... but to say you don't see the pressure Dak is under on some of the plays, is just plain silly. Dak doesn't need everything to be "perfect", he needs people to do their jobs... BIG difference.

Please tell us how "majority" of these are on him. Break it down for us
1:30 - Dak had no options (bad wr routes)
7:00 - Dak had no options (bad wr routes)
8:50 - free rusher a few feet away when Dak gets the ball pitched back on flea flicker.
19:20 - Dak is hit in facemask while throwing=pick

I was already wanting more linemen this off-season but this did nothing but further drive the point home.

Dallas is committed to Dak and part of having Dak as your QB is needing a elite offensive line in front of him. Anything else won’t do.
Oline was fine. He's seeing ghosts. Why? Idk.

So Kurt is wrong when he specifically points out the pressure twice in this video?

No. It’s just there is this narrative that he isn’t being protected.

He’s playing in a football game with people trying to tackle him. It’s not always going to be perfect.

Our 40 million dollar QB needs to overcome some adversity time to time.

Funny you say that, because there's also another false/unproven narrative floating around that Dak needs everything to be perfect. I wonder who spreads that one? Hmm...

Oh and before you say it isn't false... prove it.

Hey I’m not the one crying about him needing everything to be optimal around him.

I mean talk about having your cake and eating it too. Let’s make excuses for anything that’s not perfect but also he doesn’t need everything to be optimal. Hilarious.

To be fair, I just watched Josh Allen miss some ky reads tonight as well.
He was playing in far worse conditions but targeted the wrong man a few times for sure.....including on the last play.

I’m 15 minutes into this. Dak sucks at reading coverage lol.

Especially corners. Dallas runs these high low concepts on the sideline and Dak misses it everytime haha.

For anyone who didnt watch and is just taking his word for it, this isnt what transpired at all. On the majority of plays discussed the criticism lays at the feet of the playcalling, the blocking or the route running. Dak straight missing a read when he had time to make it was a small minority of our issues.
