I had no problem with that because that team was the defending SB champ and had won like 6 in a row at that time. It was confidence based on recent accomplishments. Big Mac’s statement doesn’t strike me the same way.

No matter what, the Cowboys have to start showing they are more action than talk Sunday.

I don't know how a team can forget the embarrassment from last year......and how they celebrated on our field. If that doesn't motivate a team for some payback....then you don't have the right guy pushing buttons. I know I would have that fake punt inside our 30 on a reel....and just keep playing that over and over again..where everyone walked.

I just hope they don’t do like so many big games ….come out all hyped up and Zeke fumble, then throw an interception, then TE Fumble….and before the first quarter we’re down 17 to 0. Posting this for luck LOL

Rivera's quote reminds me that is exactly why Jimmy Johnson predicted the NFC conference championship victory against the 49ers. His team was young and he wanted to make it about him to take the pressure off them. Also he wanted to instill confidence in the team.

LOL. A loss to the FT tomorrow won't be any more difficult than if McCarthy had said nothing. I guarantee if the Cowboys win by double digits, the pooh poohers will find something else to whine about.

I'm glad McCarthy said he was taking his team down to DC to win tomorrow. I didn't forget Bostic's cheap shot on Dalton last year and you better believe McCarthy remembers. Big Mike's words will make the victory so much sweeter.
