The guy was a complete menace today.
Yeah, he really was. He is getting better and better every game.

Having him on the field along with Gregory and Lawrence has made him even better, too. When playing with Basham and Armstrong, the offense could focus primarily on Micah. With two other accomplished pass rushers there with Parsons, they can punish the offense for focusing too much on him.

Parsons presence helped Gregory have a big day as much as Gregory being there helped Micah dominate.

For the first time in I don’t know how long, Dallas has a dominant front 7. Playmakers.

Okay. Show me receipts that I didn't want Micah moving around the defense to take advantage of his versatility.
“It makes perfect sense to minimize rush opportunities for an elite pass rusher so two inferior players can get their full workload in.

This is just coaches out thinking themselves and I saw it coming a mile away.”

Dan Quinn was “outsmarting himself”, according to you.

Oops. Wrong!!!

You were clearly unhappy about Micah being “minimized” as a pass-rusher, and you voiced that opinion directly in response to the news that we’d be using him a ton at linebacker.

Oops. Wrong!!!

Man up and take the L. It happens.

I love it when he rag dolls the QB and tosses his with 1 arm. Crazy.

So your proof that I wanted Micah to remain in one spot as a down DE full time was me not wanting Micah to pass rush less with Lawrence and Gregory coming back?

Do you really believe that or are you just pulling my leg? I figure anyone who can log on here and can figure out that isn't what I meant at all.

Maybe take a break from tongue bathing our logo and read what people are actually saying.

I’ll tongue bathe our logo all I want.

You’re splitting hairs. The point is you were wrong about Quinn “outsmarting” himself and your opinion that it wasn’t smart to “minimize” his pass rush opportunities proved to be faulty as well.

Washington’s QBs were seeing ghosts out there, so no, Quinn didn’t “outsmart himself”. He outsmarted the Washington coaches.

You still don't seem to get it. In your simpleton mind you think if Micah still gets sacks that proves me wrong. It's like I'm debating a teenager with temp Cowboy tattoos on.

I'll state in one more time and then I'm done with you because you're a waste of my time. If the Cowboys end up rushing Micah less because two inferior players are back that is a mistake that should get any coach immediately fired. He's elite. They're not. He's the priority. They're not. The defense should revolve around him not them.

And neither is saying if Parsons rushes less because the inferior Lawrence and Gregory are back then that is a problem.

Read it again, Rowdy. If he rushes less because of their return it is a problem.

Simple statement that's 100% correct.
We just had by far our best defensive performance of the season. 5 sacks, 4 turnovers and complete domination despite a poor offensive showing. You are just wrong.

Yes. I'm wrong. Micah should rush less now that the inferiors are back.

Less elite. More inferior.

Keep that education coming.

Our defense is just better that way. Sorry if you can’t understand why or how. Go ahead and get the last word.

Yes, our defense is better when Micah Parsons rushes the QB less.

I'm learning so much about the game right now.

LOLLLL I love bozos who can’t man up when they’re wrong.
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

He didn’t rush the passer as much as he would have if he was playing DE predominantly.

The reason for him playing linebacker and NOT rushing the passer as much is because Lawrence and Gregory are back.

That is LITERALLY the EXACT THING you were fretting about like a know-nothing baby.

Then the game happened... and you got exposed as a casual fan who doesn’t really understand the game.

Whoops!

This game proves why fans shouldn't jump to conclusions. Parsons still got plenty of pass rushing opportunities, and those opportunities, while maybe somewhat less than when Lawrence and Gregory were out, were probably more productive because there were more pass rushers for the defense to account for, because his rush is harder to prepare for when he can rush from multiple positions on the field instead of just at DE, and because he does so many things well and the team can tailor his role to whatever the team needs on a given play.

I agree. Parson had 2 sacks 1 coming from right up the middle from his LB spot. Gregory got a sack as did DLaw and Gallimore. Parson did a good job in coverages as well with a chance for a couple of ints. and his play vs run is a big help to this defense. Yesterday game this defense as a whole stepped up. Today all I hear was Washington is not good and yet last week people were talking of how hot Washington is and how they won 4 in a row including Tampa Bay. Par for course around here you win and some will down play the importance of the game and this team.

He was a menace vs the run and also in coverage from the LB spot as well. Mixing it up like we did kept Washington guessing and made Heinicke’s/Allen’s lives a living hell.

Casual fans like @Risen Star think it’s ALL about the raw attempts at rushing the passer, regardless of the context of the roster or the opponent. It’s cute.
