Dak turned into a Frog the minute he quit running w his legs.

Cam Newton did also

Without that element of his game he'll be avg at best

Run Dak run

And let Jerry freak out? That’s what the call was and the RPO is gone and everything else that worked for 5 years. It’s football and if you’re gonna get hurt you’re gonna get hurt. Don’t hamper the dude

I wonder if Dak might be on drugs. I wonder what drugs they test for in the NFL?

I love Dak Prescott. There are better QBs in the NFL, but I wouldn’t trade him for any of them. Irrational, but that’s me.

Most of the recent Dak posts are ridiculous. Many stupidly say this is what they always knew he was. Many others want to blame any and everything for his recent struggles. Anyone who knows squat about football and listens to those who do knows Dak has had stretches where he has been elite, and yes, the MVP roll he was on early in the year was legit. Those who claim otherwise don’t deserve the respect of your response to their silly, ignorant agenda driven posts.

That said, anyone who knows anything about football and listens to those who do knows Dak is currently in a funk. He’s having a bad run where he’s making bad decisions, rushing the plays, not staying composed with his mechanics. It happens to all QBs. He has three weeks to start finding his stride and improving his play. It is unlikely that he will suddenly turn around and play at the elite level he was at early this season, but he must improve.

It’s not the OL or the lack of a run game; It’s not the receivers or the play-calling. We have all seen Dak play extremely well with and without a run game, behind a crappy OL, with backup receivers, with plenty of drops, and with head scratching play calls. When it’s obvious he’s playing well, it’s easy to then pinpoint the OL not giving time for plays to develop or drives ending because of penalties or dropped passes or insane play calls. Dak needs to slow it down, see what he sees pre-snap, but also adjust to what he sees post-snap, step up in the pocket, slide in the pocket to buy time, keep his feet under him and have good mechanics. The answer cannot always be get rid of the ball quickly.

We’ve seen him play his game many times, but right now he is NOT playing well. Winning or losing and success in the playoffs is not on hm alone. But if he continues to play poorly, he definitely shoulders a huge, disproportionate share of the blame, as he should.

But if you want to discuss with silly, emotional, irrational comments about him being a poor QB, that he’s always been a poor QB, don’t expect a response from me. If you want to discuss why he’s currently playing at a poor QB level, bring it because that is certainly fair.

I don’t know if Dak will pull out of it or not, nor to what degree he will right the ship, but at 9-4 and the playoffs on the horizon, I’m certainly hopeful that he will get back to 75% of what he was to start the season to make the playoffs a fun experience.
Great Post!

Leave the Dak Haters to me...I have been given notice by mods for being too rough:lmao2:

Again I’m a dak fan but It’s ridiculous that we shouldn’t be able to criticize a guy that wanted top 3 qb money and held out for that in the off-season.

I’m sick of making the playoffs and being “happy we were there”.I want to win a SB and anyone that tells me we can win one with the way daks playing lately is a dak apologist.

I think dak is capabale of getting it together but it has to happen sooner than later

Starts with coaching. Get his confidence back in what he's seeing and be intentional, meaning, when you see something, attack it immediately. He was slow to attack against WFT, he's over thinking things and not trusting anything around him.

LOL....:laugh:I said the same and some said I was attacking Dak:laugh:

I agree. He has a couple early high throws it seems lately, and I agree that it is not always needing to get rid of it quickly, on the contrary, he seems to misjudge how much time he has and doesn't trust the pocket. Not all the time, just a few snaps a game.

I do too. That's why I think the sooner we lock up what we can lock up, the sooner we can get Dak some rest. Not two weeks rest, but I'd let him miss the Eagles game so he can rest. Use it as a bye week and let him get ready to do the postseason.
If he's hurt, for sure!

Stopped reading after your first line. That's as far as I'm willing to waste my time.

Zack Martin our best lineman, he can’t get to the second level blocking. He’s helping the center. Because he is helping the left guard. So first of all there’s no running game. So I don’t know How you can have A consistent passing game without it and vice a versa . Prescott obviously is having some kind of issue. I say sit him for two weeks. You’ll have two games left to get in rhythm.
I agree. Get off the "I can play through the injuries" hero crap. Get his ankle or calf or head right (on the sideline for a few games ) and lets see if he can get back to the beginning of the season playing level.

As long as I’ve been a Cowboys fan…since 1964 when I was 6 years old…one of the most reliable aspects of Cowboys fandom is whoever is playing qb- even Roger Staubach- is usually the most criticized lightening rod player every single year. Never fails.
And look at what Dandy Don Meredith from Mt Vernon, TX went through as the Cowboys qb. I think it comes with the territory so to speak.

How did Tom Brady and Derek Carr do against WFT defense last few weeks ? Shut down and lost thats how they did .
Dak hasn't been the same since calf injury and Moore does not do him any favors but the response to dak after this game has been way over the top

Yet both QB's beat Dak and Dallas so poor example to bring up. Oh, and in the WFT vs. Raiders game the Raiders defense gave up a last minute game winning FG to the WFT so how was that Carr's fault after he led them to a game leading FG drive? As for Brady, he was 23 of 34 for 220 yards with 2 TD's and 2 INT's while having no running game.......isn;t that what is said when Dak loses?

Like the bubble screen he threw over Amari's head? The pick 6 where he didn't see the underneath LB and threw the ball right to him? Thats not coaching.
