Are you suggesting we shut down all critical thinking or do you have some incredible persuasive power that you feel is going to influence everyone’s thoughts ?
Critical thinking is overrated, it's meaningless if you are powerless to do anything about what you are critiquing. It just amounts to a pissing party. That's all you are defending. LOL If influencing everyone's thoughts is what interests you then acknowledge this team is capable of playing very well at all three phases of the game. Acknowledge what this team is capable of if they put that all together at the same time. They would be unstoppable.

Back to reality... crap happens. The imperfects of this team are on full display every Sunday. Feel free to discuss. Leave me out of it.

So, you never discuss anything happening in the world with critical thinking you don’t have any control over , or just the Cowboys?

We appreciate your positive energy . And you always have the option of ignoring these negative or critical vibes. We don’t want to bring you down.Go Cowboys!!

If Smith is out for playoffs and or Elliott isn’t healthy and Pollard is still ailing , this offense is going to struggle .

I don't see Smith being out for playoffs he is expected to return for the Washington game. As for Zeke and Pollard that is a concern and your right it would put a bigger burden on passing game to produce.

OK here's a question - why did Jerry hire MM.

Isn't he the offensive minded Super Bowl winning coach that coached the great Aaron Rodgers...surely he should be able to figure out how to get the offense going.

I mean Moore is super green and its showing, surly with all his experience he can give this kid some kind of guidance.

Why is he "clean" in all this - all of us are blaming Moore, Philbin, the O-line, Zeke, Dak and the WRs even the water boy, but I dont see one thread calling MM out.
he takes more crap than even kellen moore.
how the hell is he "clean".
we've had umpteen threads on here about him being fired and replaced by kellen moore.

everything that people like about this team is in place because of him.
i loved the hire then.
love it still.
he has changed the culture of this team.
we have turned the corner to better days.
enjoy it.

My goal is to shut down all these idiots that think their critical thinking matters. I will control your thoughts, just do as I say. Nah just kidding. Your critical thinking affects me in no way so carry on. I'm a football fan so I can get away from what's happening in the world. I'm here for happy thoughts.

Its b/c we know how compartmentalized the cowboys coaching structure has been since Parcels. The head coaches don't hire their own staff here. Every assistant has one boss and its not the head coach. Jerry is the puppet master. Have you ever heard of a head coach accepting a job that comes with a staff? Thats pretty much what MM did and we all know whose doing what b/c Jerry tells us.

Smith obviously if he returns next week isn’t a 100%. And our entire left side of OL is questionable. Couple that with our RB’s hurting . It doesn’t bode well for our offense.

Fortunately we practically have our division wrapped up. We need to get these key talents as healthy as possible before the playoffs .

We have McCarthy because Jerry likes weak coaches who won't take the spotlight off him.

Yea, I’m not sure why it didn’t alarm other fans that a proven HC hired who is a OC by trade wasn’t bringing in his own offense.

I think fans were so excited Garrett was gone and Jethro brought in a proven name they just assumed our dysfunctional ways had gone .

But the way Moore was kept should have been an indicator but some of these fans denied how that went down .

Not many around the league are 100%. Left side of the OL is in question especially the LG and it will be interesting to see what the staff does there. RB is a concern but if you are talking about shutting the team down as soon as we win the division, I think it is a mistake, to think you can sit guys for 2 or 3 weeks and then face top teams and flip the switch, I don't agree. Guys who you list on injury report that is questionable, do not play them but guys who are able to put in FP yes I play them.

I wouldn’t call MM a weak coach. He just accepted his role here and not going to rock the boat.

I’m not suggesting shutting it down. Just resting the key talents nursing injuries. Our playoff success is riding on it.

If we can win a game without our QB we can win one without our RB.

we did that before and were 1 and done. Same concerns about resting players nursing injuries. I do think if you have a player listed as questionable and unable to practice then sit him. Guys who are able to put in the work during the week play them.
Fact is we have sat guys during the season who maybe could have played but McCarthy ruled them out. Of course some in the peanut gallery called them soft and weak but none the less McCarthy did what was right by the player and I don't think that changes for the remainder of the season

There’s no reason to play Elliott. He’s totally ineffective anyway. A couple weeks off might make all the difference.

If we don’t have a running game in the playoffs, we are done.

and if we don't have a RB who can pick up the blitz as Zeke can we may not have a QB. I think Cowboys have limited the carries of Zeke and while he is getting the snaps much of it has to do with his ability to pick up the pass rusher. Mean while Zeke and the team is saying his situation is improving, I can't say for sure because I'm not a doctor nor am I at the facility. Pollard situation concerns me a bit more in terms of recovery and how effective he can be with a torn plantar fascia. Pollards game is centered around his speed and agility, so dealing with injury is a concern.

AND IS ONE GAME SHY OF BEING TIED FOR THE BEST RECORD IN THE NFL

Quite an accomplishment with a washed up hand-me-down coach and a scrub quarterback ;)
AND IS ONE YARD AWAY FROM HAVING THE TOP OFFENCE IN THE NFL.

Rodgers made him an SB-winning coach.
He misses him every day.......
He is also a perfect YES man.
Unemployed and ....Boom Jerry calls....
Hence ..... Hey, Ernie, you wanna a Job???:muttley:

I don’t believe that. Aaron Rodgers hasn’t had a ring since.
