I'm happy for him. Guy came along way for laying it on the line for Notre Dame in a Bowl Game, rehabbed, got rewarded by JJ, and eviscerated on this Board. Meanwhile, SLee would be viewed as a future Coach with all the leadership one could possess, despite the drop off in play, but the talk about accountability, and LVE up next with the same Board accolades. Go figure.

I'm happy for him, but there's a huge difference. It was obvious that Jaylon either didn't put in the study time in the film room and didn't work hard to improve his game or he just couldn't understand it. How many times did he run himself out of position and have to run and chase a runner from behind? No instincts, all athleticism. When his athleticism faded he couldn't hide that either he didn't care about learning his craft or couldn't learn his craft.

With Sean Lee, his body just gave out on him but it was obvious that he was always working on his craft and studying. He was focused on football and not his brand when he was supposed to.

It's unfortunate what happened to Jaylon with his knee. He did fantastic given his injury but it was clear he just wasn't good enough (or didn't care enough) to retain. Good for him for finding another team, but as a LB he's kind of a joke. He proved that with two teams already this season.

He’s only good enough to make the Giants practice squad. Safe to say this is the last gasp of his NFL career.
They'll release him soon after they play the cowboys.
I don't know what insights they can get out of him.

I hate our team surgeon who said he’d recover.

I blame Jerry for using a high second round pick on a player coming off a very serious injury. I said at the time I never thought Jaylon would return to form.

He was signed because they think he knows a lot about the Cowboys' defense. Sure the Giants know they're going nowhere this year, but it's still a division game, they'd like nothing better than to beat Dallas and keep them from clinching the division this week.

Don't underestimate rivalries in the NFL, sometimes it's the silliest things that matter to a team...

This is more petty than it is silly. Actually it’s both petty and silly.

I wouldnt be so judgmental on Smith. His road to success in the NFL was a longshot and he beat the odds. Sure he'd swipe or whatever... but so would i if i wasnt supposed to even walk correctly after that injury let alone play in the NFL.

Im glad for Jaylen. I hope he catches on to the team and continues his career.

Its like every year Jerrah has to pick either an injured player or a player with substance abuse problems. Usually the gamble doesn't pay off.

For a few years Jerry had our second round picks designated for injured players and drug addicts. He considered it a good value watching a highly touted player fall to us in the second round because of injuries, drugs or other off the field issues. It never worked.

nobody knows him any better than our offense.
