Every player on the offense has an obligation to protect their QB, it's real obvious these QB's can't handle anyone out there and do need help. You do whatever it takes to protect your QB.

A funny....

Years ago the Chiefs had a tiny little kick off returner Nolan "Super Gnat" Smith*** 5-6 170ish pounder. Well on one returner he gets taken down hard then was getting roughed up a bit, so off the bench here came the 6-9 Ernie Ladd and the 6-8 Buck Buchanon, yep, things changed real quick.

*** the little speedy guy in the movie M*A*S*H

..charities? ...probably not 100%. I'm sure a middleman gets paid, whomever that might be.

He already said he would.
Then again Zeke and Lael aren't exactly broke/on rookie contracts.

If it was someone like Connor or Biadasz getting fined the same amount then definitely someone should step up to pay their fines. Also the fines should be a standard % of one's salary, say 0.1%... not a raw arbitrary number. So a guy on a rookie contract doesn't get unfairly and regressively taxed by a fine the same amount as a highly paid veteran.

yes, and higher % if you really want it to be a deterrent, for lael and ewok, this fine is a joke, a slap on the wrist.
