We have been desperate for years for a defence that regularly creates turnovers and give the offence extra possessions. Now we cant win like that because it is unsustainable? Why did we bother adding playmakers to the defence then? If we can keep applying pressure on the offence then turnovers are sustainable. What isn't susntainable is repeatedly kicking FGs in the redzone. That has to change in order to get to the conference title.

I guess you didn't understand my point. The first game we don't dominate with turnovers, we're going to lose because the offense isn't capable of scoring points, even with all the extra possessions. I'm not complaining about the D, just that they cannot keep up this pace forever, and the offense won't be there to pick up the slack.

Yes.. That’s why a lot of us are upset.

The offense has been underperforming for awhile now but the worst part is our QBs accuracy & decision making.

Followed by WR drops.

Followed by coaches overplaying Zeke and underplaying Pollard.

It's funny how everyone fails to realize that Elliott has gotten more carries. No way Pollard can carry the load through a 17 game season like him. Neither back would be as good without the other.

Being upset is silly. Cowboys in the race to be the number one seed. So, yes, we are having a memorable year of winning.

Plus, the coaches most certainly know Pollard is a good runner. So having him fresh for the playoffs is key,

You're thinking along the lines of instant gratiication, whereas some of us see it as delayed because Pollard's increase in runs and touches will come in due time, in the playoffs. If we're the number one seed, whether he played during the season or not will not have mattered even a little bit.

We are now winning with a championship formula

-Defenses
-turnovers battle
-running game
-smart, less risky offense

Is it sexy? No

however we have beaten

-Patriots
-Chargers
-Saints @ NO
-Vikings @ minny with a backup qb
-swept the East
-completely demolished the falcons

many of these are playoff teams or teams who still have a shot at the playoffs

Teams don’t want to see us because we are a very, very good team

We're also not losing the way we've grown accustomed to - scoring 30+ points then blaming the offense while the other team put up 40.

Zeke carrying the load is basically a waste of a play.

I don’t want to hear about Zeke doing this super special thing. He’s not productive and production is all that matters.

Carrying the ball a bunch and being below average while you do it isn’t some special trait.

Also, I agree.. Pollard needs Zeke.. But it’s more for short yardage situations or once offensive momentum is established.

Right now Pollard needs more carries and a larger role than Zeke. Neither guy should be carrying the lid but Pollard should be the main guy. Zeke can be a short yardage back and a finisher at the end of games.

We’re like that small conference team trying to gain the respect of the voters. Gotta win pretty or else Tampa Arizona or GB will pull away in the rankings. Hopefully the playoff committee is more forgiving.

I will make a guarantee right now.

If the offense does not get it together in the next 3 weeks we will lose either the Wild Card or Divisional game.

I believe the defense is being highly overrated because people are not looking at the competition we've been going against.

Not necessary true because they're just not getting turnovers, they're getting stops. They're ranked #2 on opponent 3rd down conversions per game.

I don't care how we're winning as long as we're winning.
Good teams find a way to win
Style points don’t count in the nfl
We’d love to see the offense March up and down the field and put up 40 each week but this is the nfl and teams adjust to what you do. Just like the saints yesterday shut down the Bucs
The key is winning which ever way you have to

The way we are winning is unsustainable. We can't keep counting on 4 turnovers a game. We are struggling offensively against bad teams and have been for seven weeks now.

Defense wins championships. Let me say that again DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS. This defense can carry the team far.

You don’t necessarily need turnovers if they keep failing on 3rd down. Keep ‘em punting…Our offense will figure it out.

I don’t always agree with you but you’re right on target here. Zeke needs to be used less with Pollard getting the lion’s share of the snaps. Pollard being able to get to the edge And get upfield is something this offense needs. And if he gets a crease, he goes.

Let Elliott get a few snaps a game and try to recover some for the stretch.

Well.....that phrase "your are what your record says you are" works both ways. That phrase is normally used for a team with a losing record, but it applies to teams with a winning record as well.

Dallas is a 10-4 team that is currently the second seed in the NFC coming off 3 consecutive road victories. Regardless of the recent offensive inefficiencies, this is a good team, and the record says so.

If that wasn't the case, 7-4 would have turned to 7-7 or maybe 8-6 which is middle of the road/almost playoff team.
