Doesn't Everyone's highlight tape look pretty good? Regardless Gallup, Wilson, and Brown are free agents next year so there will be some opportunities for guys like Vasher to step up.

Check out this freak's highlight tape. WOW!!
This thread is a huge fail.

'Check out this highlight tape' but not link posted.

Compares WR to Randy Moss despite Texas Tech fans not even being impressed with Vasher in college.

Forming an opinion about a player from YouTube highlights.

Not considering that WRs historically have the most misleading highlight videos of any position.

I saw Randy Moss on the same football field as Brady, Welker, Romo, Ware, Owens, & Witten and let me tell you… Moss just looked different than all those guys.

The guy is just built different.

I watched Vasher many times at Tech. I think he has a GREAT place on the Cowboys, if they utilize him properly. He can out jump most DB's and could be a legit red zone threat. Did he have some drops, yes, but so do most WR. That part doesn't bother me. I am just not sure whether he has the heart or not to be as good as his talent has shown, or the ability to stay healthy.

What he isn't is Moss. He does not have any where close to the speed.

Agreed. Parsons is one of those guys to me as well. He jumps out at me on the screen.

I’m a big Texas Tech fan and saw TJ Vasher play in person or on TV in every game he played. I really like the kid….BUT, no he’s not anything close to Randy Moss.

Here’s a look at his strengths and weaknesses:
STRENGTHS:
  • Size- at least height. He’s almost 6’6”, but he’s also skinny as a rail.
  • Catch radius- huge hands and can catch balls most receivers could not get to.
  • Can make the occasional spectacular catch.
  • Good Red zone target- his height and vertical jump made him a good red zone weapon.
WEAKNESSES
  • Unlike Randy Moss, Vasher has zero speed.
  • He drops a lot of easy receptions. Yes he makes some spectacular catches but the drops of easy passes off set that.
  • Not a precise route runner. If he’s pressed by a corner, he has trouble completing routes.
  • Not a good blocker.
  • Has a bad habit of taking plays off.
  • Never played special teams in college.
There’s a reason TJ Vasher wasn’t drafted. He was never a consistent weapon at Tech. In fact, there’s a kid at Tech now named Erik Ezukanma who is about to enter the draft who’s waaaaaaay better than TJ Vasher. Ezukanma will probably be a 2nd-3rd round pick.

Again, I liked Vasher at Tech but I will be surprised if he even makes the team next year.

Surprised that only Randy Moss' name came up ... and Not MegaTron Calvin Johnson as well
..... neither which Vasher comes nowhere near in comparisons - he's tall that's where comparisons shuts the door.
