Right now it's inevitable that we will win the division. Even if we loose all our remaining games and Philadelphia wins their remaining games, it's a million to one shot that Philly could take the division and most likely it will happen this weekend. But what time will that occur? Let's go through the possibilities.

There are three ways Dallas can clinch the division this weekend:

1. Defeat Washington
No a guarantee that we win but it wouldn't be final until around 10:30 PM Sunday night. We can do better.

2. Philadelphia loses to NY Giants
This game is at noon Sunday so by about 3:00 PM the division could officially be ours. However, I don't see Philly loosing this game.

3. A combined 1.5 wins from these teams: Las Vegas, Jacksonville, LA Chargers, Minnesota, New England, and Atlanta
* Las Vegas plays at 3:25 so if we had to wait on this game it wouldn't be final until about 6:30 PM.
* LA Chargers and Minnesota play each other at 12:00. That guarantees at least the half win.
* The remaining three teams (Jacksonville, New England, Atlanta) all play at noon. If one of those three teams wins, combined with the automatic result from LAC-Min game, we will clinch the division around 3:00 PM on Sunday.

Chargers play the Texans, not the Vikings. Vikings play the Rams.

We really still sweating the NFC East? I moved past that a while ago.

We need to be much more concerned with seeding.

Not sweating the NFC East. We are just excited about each step of the process. Not every year we get to enjoy the process of making the playoffs, winning the division, and fighting for the overall #1 seed. It’s a fun time to be a Cowboys’ fan for me. No doubt we clinch the division. Just excited to see it happen officially.

I’m guessing when we beat Washington

I can’t see Philly losing to NY. NY is unbelievably bad with Jones out. Stop the run and they have nothing.

Clinching is moot , dallas still has to win to go for higher seeding.

That game won’t determine it.

The A combined 1.5 wins from these teams: Las Vegas, Jacksonville, LA Chargers, Minnesota, New England, and Atlanta. That will seal it before our game
