When Dak started running, the Cowboys started rolling. It is amazing how a quarterback running the football opens offenses.

Yep.. it holds the linebackers in their drops.. opening up the middle for the in cuts and the TE seam routes.. It also forces the down linemen to be more disciplined in their rush. If they get out of their lanes you make them pay. It also forces DBs to always keep one eye on the QB, giving the receivers that much more advantage. There are just so many good things that happen when the QB threatens the defense with his legs.. not the least of which is he gets some easy first downs to keep the chains moving and drives alive.

I don't know about all that.. He doesn't HAVE to run.. He has had multiple 400 yard 3 TD games without running.. Running just adds to the ways he can threaten the defense. There are times when he needs to run.. but I don't think it's every game.. or even a certain number of times per game.. It's just when the time is right.. do it..

He didn't run alot but it does pose the threat that he might take off so the opposing D has to respect that.

It was good to see Dak run more against the WFT.
He looked less hesitant and really made some key yardage.
Having that in his arsenal again will help make the offense more potent.

Hell yah.

Garrett ruined Daks play, IMO.

He isn't a pocket QB......Notice his best completions are when he moves outside of the pocket? On the run, so to speak.

Yah.....me too.

It was good to see him not just run, but to run intelligently. He popped out of bounds or slid before getting walloped. He's protecting himself from injury. We need him to do well in the playoffs. I was pleased that Cooper Rush did so well in the Minny game, and he even through a TD pass against Washington, but we all know that Dak is the man who needs to lead this team.

He came up running he left the NCAA running, every NFL season but the last two he ran for 300ish yards a season, this is not Eli Manning, Philip Rivers. The guy needs to run that is who he has been all his career. Don't care about a couple games, looking at who he is, what he is about historically speaking.

You know how it works.....ah hell he ain't running so meet at the QB, opposed to....."check the run"....which slows down that pass rush.

Watch how his ability to escape and extend plays starts being a difference maker.

We do, but the crazy thing is I really like our back up qb now. Lol, I didn't see that coming either. He won me over with that performance in Minnesota.

Yeah, he did great. Before that game, I was wondering why they didn't go out and sign the best free agent QB available. Turns it, it was because Cooper Rush has his act together. He knows the offense and this system and is comfortable in it. He did great.

The beginning of the year he looked like he was at 50-60% running. Now I'd say he's around 90%.....looked so much better and fluid like the old Dak.

I agree 100%. Dak running occasionally takes this offense up a notch. It’ll be necessary for us to go all the way. Makes a huge difference.

Running should only be a last resort...he's evolved from his college days and makes too much money to risk unnecessary injury.

What’s great is to see all the Dak deniers crawl back under their rocks. Crickets from them. Love it. The best thing about is that they’re crying about Dak’s performance and the big Cowboys win.

LOL

It’s as if some fans think we haven’t been watching for the last five years.

Sorry, but his career stats would say otherwise.

His first four seasons he scored 21 rushing TD's over 1000 yards rushing.

Not saying go Michael Vick but this is no Eli Manning/Philip Rivers either.

If Dak continues to pick his spots on when to run I’m fine with it. With two games left and having the NFC East wrapped up he has to be very careful we don’t want to see him injured before the playoffs.
