The only thing I see stopping the Cowboys at this point is themselves

Is themselves. If they can keep the penalties down and don't turn the football over I really don't see anyone beating them. With that defense and now with the offense back to normal it's going to be very hard to stop these guys and we can't forget about the Cowboys special teams, so at the end of the day you have to try and beat a three headed monster so good luck with that.

I have to agree. If they play like they did against Washington, they will be hard to beat. But we know they are capable of playing like they did against Denver.

Roger Goodell has a failsafe plan where the refs give the Cowboys a royal screwing on national TV. This team is the most complete team in the NFL.. You are correct that if they play up to their capabilities there is no team that can stop them. However, again, Jerry winning that lawsuit against the league (with Roger Goodell as chief counsel) will never be forgiven. Our guys will really have to destroy the other team to keep the league from intervening to stop them from winning it all.

We have yet to see them play a Great QB since week one.
They have been prone to giving up big plays.
Will be watching to see how they handle the Cards QB.

Glad to see Cheffers crew is not assigned to the Dallas game. His games are always a flag fest.

This sounds like false bravado to me. The Cowboys have a good team but they're not head and shoulders above the rest of the league. There are a handful of teams that can stop them, including a few that boast better talent at QB, the most important position on the field.

If you're already blaming the refs for future loses then that just screams fear and lack of confidence in your team.

Or scheduling games outside of the division.

We are 9-1 in our conference. The better statement would have been outside the conference (where we are 2-3).

Either way I am starting to agree that we are our own biggest concern right now. But that is why they play the games.

Sure seems that way doesn't it?

You'd think Jerry was owed a small debt of gratitude for what he did for this league.

Maybe that was what he was trying to do by offering up a home game to Mexico City lol.

Honestly though, since the Raider game I've known in my gut that will be the damn difference between the one and two seed and that's gonna sting if it comes down to us at GB and we can't get going in that weather.

Things like that, and the two blown one seeds, are things it takes a while to get over...if you ever do.

Need those breaks man. It's not good enough to just be good.

...is injuries. If they stay healthy, possibly run the table.

Novak was the ref for the Vikings game. 18 flags total, 7 home, 11 away.

Maybe the Rams, Bucs or Packers?

Got to get past the opening playoff weekend first, not an easy task for past Cowboys teams.

I actually like the Boys against the Bucs or Packers better than the Rams. McVay has the Cowboys number and he could get 150 yards rushing with two little old ladies. He loves playing the Cowboys.

I don't know how to classify who is "great" per se, but they did play Mahomes - former MVP/SB MVP and All Pro. They held him to 23/37 for 260, 0 TD's, 1 Int. He also picked up 11 yds on 7 rushes. Add to that, IMO, this defense is quite a bit better than the one that played against Mahomes in week 12. Overall, regardless of competition level, I just think the defense has significantly improved as the season has progressed. I wouldn't personally put K Murray in the same QB class as Mahomes (although they do have some similarities), and I know that anything can happen in any given week, but I feel good going into this game against AZ.

It’s obvious the beatdown the Cowboys put on Washington last week has you getting a little too carried away with the team. The Cowboys are a very good team when they show up to play but they’re still going to have their work cut out for them beating Green Bay or Tampa Bay. The team has been getting fat lately off of average to bad opponents with backup QBs. The competition and caliber of QBs we’ll be facing in the playoffs will be much better. If the Cowboys don’t look good against Kyler Murray and the Cardinals on Sunday fans like you won’t be feeling so overconfident about the team.

Most fans here live in the moment and at the moment the Cowboys are coming off a 56 point demolition against a decimated team. It’s fans getting carried away with the team that leads to some of the board meltdowns when things don’t go well in the playoffs. Fans get blindsided due to overconfidence. I’m not saying not to enjoy the moment but I would advise caution. We’ve already been burned by the team this season on more than one occasion so I wouldn’t be getting the anointing oil out just yet.

I’m worried about big time QBs being dialed in and our defense struggling and our QB just not having the ability to match their points.

The Kansas City Chiefs game is exactly the type of game I’m worried about.
