If you're serious about that, just learn the most common verbs and their conjugation patterns and the rest will come pretty quickly. There's tons of free lessons on YouTube. IMO, "The Language Tutor" is the best teacher.

Just go to YouTube and type in “The Language Tutor, Lesson 1” (if you’re starting from scratch) and go sequentially from there. Personally, I made a vocabulary list and carried with me and studied it when I had nothing to do. I just continually added to it. You’ll be surprised at how much you can pick up pretty quickly. Spanish play by play is the best, IMO. I need to learn spanish.

Spanish is one of the easier languages to learn as an English speaker. You can be fluent in 6 months especially if you live in Texas and are around it consistently.
