Every time I watch the Packers play I am astounded by what their offensive line gets away with. Maybe someone pointing it out to the league would get it changed. I remember when the Packers used to get away with blocking on those WR screens before the ball arrived all the time. But one day that changed and the refs started calling PI against them when they did it. Could it be someone complained?

But for the Cowboys to stop the Packers they are going to have to harass Rodgers for 60 minutes with a 4 man pass rush, and cover Adams.

Or we can just win by outplaying them, so that there is no need for excuses
This. A thousand times this. Dez scored with approximately 4:50 left in 4th quarter and we lost because our defense couldn’t mk a stop when they absolutely had to. Loser franchises blame the refs for their playoff losses. We can go toe to toe with Green Bay and if we meet in the nfc championship game, I predict Rogers will spend most of the game on his back.

I have this re occurring day dream thing that could VERY easily come to fruition. Having it so much Im ALMOST expecting it to happen now. Goes like this....

NFC Championship in Green Bay. Its a great game, back in forth. We end up scoring a touchdown to take a 4 point lead with a little over a minute and a half left to go. Everybodys heart just kinda stops for a second,....everybody is thinking.....OH OH, we left too much time on the clock and we all know what Rogers does in those situations. Rogers gets the packers to his own 45 or so. And then it happens.....Rogers drops back to pass,....Parsons comes SCREAMING around the edge, Rogers doesnt see him,....blind side hit,...BALL OUT!! Cowboys fall on the ball,.... Cowboys HAVE the ball!! A few kneel downs and Cowboys WIN! That same defense that has produced big plays and turnovers all season long goes out and does it AGAIN to seal the win! How fitting......how proper and well deserved,...HOW GOOD! Soak it in...

You beat the hell out of Rogers, legally,...thats what you do. You let it be known early and often that he is in for a longggggg day. And this defense can do it too. THAT more than anything is how you beat sheethead and the Packers in Green Bay or anywhere else.

One suitable way to do this would be to get some low-ranking Cowboys player - like a 3rd string defensive lineman - to deliberately lay a hit on Rodgers as hard as possible. Sure, it would result in an ejection and 15-yard penalty, but the damage is the damage and the message sent is the message sent. After all, this isn't like soccer, where an ejection means playing with one less man.

This could be repeated by using whatever lowest-ranking defenders there are - people we don't mind having ejected.

Thing is,....we dont need to do that, nor should we. Just BRING THE PAIN in a fair , legal, and sportsmanlike way. We have the horses to do it too.

Hayseed, dream a little dream for me. I like your dreams.

BTW, does Parsons knock that silly looking homeless man beard off Rodgers with that hit?

Ya'll are so scared that you're already blaming the refs for a loss in a game that we may or may not play.

Loser mentality.

What's your theory on why the NFL/refs/etc allow the Packers offensive line to hold on every play?

I hope so! That would make it all the sweeter. Tell you what,....that JERK really confirmed why I have always disliked him. Never actually Hated Favre BTW, stand up guy. But Rogers? Self entitled all about him arrogant jerk. Heres how he confirmed I had him pegged long ago.....What he pulled in Chicago. Can anyone imagine any of the great QB's in NFL history , the real class guys that have won multiple Super Bowls, screaming at the opposing fans.....I OWN YOU I OWN YOU? I myself cant see an aikman, elway, or Montana doing that. And here is the clincher........He yelled out" I own you! , I own you! I, no mention of team. All about him. He told on himself RIGHT THEN AND THERE. No, Aaron, you dont own the Bears. The Packers do. I didnt know aaron was blocking for himself and catching his own passes. Nor did I know that he was out there playing defense. Guy is a real jerk and needs to have his mouth shut and taught a lesson. Were gonna be the team that does it.

Imagine PI getting called (rightfully) on Deion Sanders against Irvin in the ‘95 playoff game….
=We win 4 straight SBs….

Seems to me the Cowboys turning the ball over 3 times in the first 2 minutes, spotting the Niners 21 points, was the real problem that day.

The play you referenced occurred with over 14 minutes to play and Dallas trailing by 10 points (the closest Dallas got all day).

They never scored again.

So your point is there are bad calls? Or your point is that they are all out to get the Cowboys?[/QUOTE

The point is there's a lot of bad calls in the Packers favor at lambeau Field no matter what team is playing them and if we have to go there I would like us to not have to experience this if at all possible

Bad calls at lambeau Field is the recipe for one and done

Oh no doubt on the TOs but also have no doubt that if we get that PI and score a TD, we come back and win.

Have you ever seen a game played in Green Bay....to call people questioning it, "Conspiracy theorists" is asinine....it is very real. What is the worst that can happen if the Cowboys float it out there and it goes public??? Hell, the other teams know about it too...so do Ravens and Browns fans most recently.

Sure buddy. And Big Foot is real.

And what do you believe it to be?
I believe there exists a certain level of bias vs this franchise, most manifesting during the Jerry era.
Jerry stood up to the league and the Commish, he has his own branding rights and marketing exclusives that redefined league policies.
So you dont think there may exist just a little bias?
Not saying its been extremely bad this year, but what are we, 2nd in the league in penalties I believe?
There is holding on every play in every game every week, and its a pick and chose opportunity that is highly exploitable if your the official with the yellow flag in your pocket.
I dont think its been so uneven this season, but maybe its because this team has the ability to take the officials out of the game at times with dominant play.
Its those close games, where a 3rd and 8 late in the 4th quarter and down by 7.
That is the call that can be so game changing and so highly controversial.
