Cowboys could host the Rams instead if the Rams lose to the 49ers and the Cardinals beat Seahawks.
Thank you, I appreciate that. But it still makes no difference if the Cowboys win or lose next week to Philly. They should rest players and prepare for the Rams or Cards.

After how awful this team was Sunday…every starter would play to the final whistle and beyond…

Predictable garbage.

Give us the Saturday game so we are forced to play to attempt the 2 seed.

Where as if we played Sunday, we could rest guys knowing we won’t go higher than a 4

I am of the opinion that we are best served by our starters keeping the routine of playing regularly on a weekly basis. We should go full pelt for at least the first half. Equally, I do not see any relevance in a win, probably just as well given our recent form.

Win or Lose the Philly game, the Cowboys still host Arizona in the wild card round. So why not rest and just prep for Arizona?
Because that is not a correct assumption. They might play the Rams, Arizona and even the Eagles or the 49ers according to the other results.

This sucks. I'm sure the starters will play now.

Dallas gets the 3 seed if Tampa wins, Rams and cards both lose.

Dallas gets the 2 seed if Tampa, the Rams, and cards all lose.

Because of the possibility of moving from 4 to 2, they won't rest anyone.

The eagles should probably rest everyone, as they are locked into the 6 or 7 seed already. There's really no difference between the two

The offense needs all the reps they can get. As lethargic our offensive execution is they don't deserve time off.

The Cowboys marketing machine means everything to the NFL. They put a meaningless game between the Eagles in prime time Saturday night. They should have put the Rams-49ers game in that spot but they know the ratings for the Cowboys-Eagles is just to good to pass up.

Eagles can move to the 6 seed with a win and SF loss.

Rams win and Philly wins, they end up going to Tampa as opposed to LA.

It’s pretty much worse case for both teams. It’s a “Hey, you have to win in case they lose!” But in reality you’re stuck in the 4 and 7 seeds

Play the starters for 3 or 4 series, like they did against Arizona.

Sit everyone. Unless both LAR and AZ lose, we are pretty much at #4 playing one of them.

Who is set up better, cowboys or eagles? Cowboys got hype early. Micah and Diggs. Eagles make playoffs with rookie head coach and d coordinator, have not outstanding pending free agents and 3 first round picks in draft. Cowboys about to lose alot of key players after getting bounced by cards again in 2 weeks
