I think too much of Garrett rubbed off on KM. He allows Defenses to dictate their play calling way too much. We can blame dak but it was the same with Tony. Remember the ravens and other teams laughing about how predictable the O was. If I am a DC I am loving playing against a team that I can make call plays in a certain way just by the defensive look I give.

I called this out on Garrett the day he was hired in 2007.. We had a press conference and he looked dead at the camera and said "we're going to take what the defense gives us.." I knew right then and there he would never be successful calling plays.. Defenses know what play tendencies are in certain situations and certain looks.. because EVERY STINKING TEAM IN THE NFL uses the same set of plays in certain situations against certain looks.. So all they have to do is show a certain look pre-snap and they will have a really good idea what play is coming.. Guess what.. your offense is MUCH easier to stop when the defense knows what's coming. Now some superhuman players made it work anyway at times.. T.O... Austin for his two year stretch.. Dez, Witten, Murray, young Zeke, Cooper, Romo.. the offensive line when it was dominant.. Dak before he got hurt.. It was guys going Superman to make plays.. and in the process making the coaches look good. But the "take what the defense gives you" philosophy is never going to work.. You simply CANNOT allow the defense to tell you what plays to run.. Cause guess what... They're going to "give you" crappy plays.. And Moore doubled down on it with his "yards are yards" mantra.. Of you f-in kidding me? You are paid millions of dollars to coach offensive football and you honestly don't see the difference between imposing your will on a defense and letting them dictate what you do? He should have been fired the day he said that crap.

An old Dallas trick play, on a play action the off side tight end throws an 'errant' block towards the side lines, and then gets up and runs a side line pattern. He then is thrown to usually wide open.
Might as well run the old swinging gate play. IJK!!!

Kellen Moore needs to lose his ability call plays going into the playoffs if he doesn’t know how to feature Cooper & Zeke like 2018 season.

Cowboys offensive philosophy:
1: Run the ball in zone & power formation
2. Short underneath & Intermediate pass plays
3. Deep vertical passing game.
4. PA & trick plays.

:huh:Kellen Moore needs to lose play calling:huh::facepalm:

I don't think Dak changes the plays that often.. Typically when they break the huddle they have two plays in mind.. Dak is supposed to change to the second one if he sees something in the defensive alignment. People hear all that noise at the line of scrimmage and think he's changing plays all the time.. A large percentage of the time QBs do that just to screw with the defense. Then they yell "kill kill kill" to let the line know to pay attention to none of what they just said and go ahead and run the original play. The only time Dak is truly in charge is in hurry up/no huddle.. Which ironically is when the offense operates at its best.. soooooo....
What a bunch of outright lies. Is Dak your sugar daddy? Why are you trying to protect him like that?

So if I am lying then what percentage of plays do you think Dak changes? I'd love to hear what your estimation is. Let me guess.. the plays that work were called by Moore and the ones that don't were called by Dak right? Tell you what.. Go back and watch the games and take a shot every time they break the huddle in empty backfield.. Then tell me how many of those plays he "audibles away from the run." If you are sober by halftime that is..

I dont know whats being discuss behind close doors but Dak miss Coop wide open a few times verus the Cards. I would also say there is no excuse for not running the ball, i think our rb accounted for less than 12 touches? Unless Dak is checking out of runs. Also why do all this feel like the same drama when JG was OC?

Everyone wants to blame Dak but it is Moore that is our problem. I am not a big Analytical person but we run the D@mn ball, be it Zeke or Pollard, we win. Stop throwing so d@mn much.

Moore wants to pass... The miscues I see between Dak and Coop in many cases I am almost always going to say is on Dak's end. Because
there is no doubt Coop can run routes. Rodgers would make him look like Devante Adams. So, I don't think they do not want to feature Coop.
Zeke on the other hand is obviously a 1 legged runner right now. So it is going to pretty hard to feature him while he is broken.

Nah. Just wait until we run all the time and zeke gets 2 yards every time. It isn’t as easy as u think.

Won’t happen.. I wonder who is abandoning the run game. If MM is ok with that then theres a problem with both of them..

Practice for this team should plain and simply be a bull in the china closet affair...all week.
Nope. We will go prevent. Parsons is out and they will be afraid hurtz will run. They over respected the cards qb. Should have went after him..

Yeah I still think they overcoached the dline to "stay in your lanes" against Murray. It took away from of their aggressiveness. Especially the guys in the middle who in addition to not being as physically gifted as Tank and Gregory are also REALLY young and inexperienced. Asking them to "stay in your lane" and "be disciplined" may as well have been telling them to "stand around at the line of scrimmage" cause that's what it turned into.

While our secondary left the middle of the field open. All day. Used to cover everyone and let the line hunt.. Need aggression..

The head coach has already stated that all players are on the table for play in this game. That alone points towards commitment to aggressiveness.

Bull in the china cabinet brings that aspect fully to the practice field...without any la ti da involved.
