  • it's dak. he's doing the Ali rope a dope. he plays dumb and slow to reads and scared for 3 quarters then he comes out swinging after the other team goes into cruise mode. it's genius of the dak.

I think when these two teams meet again in two weeks the Cowboys need answers for the Cardinals blitzes and pass rush. It's too bad they are such a horrible screen team because maybe a few screen passes would be effective. But the video clearly shows Dak did not have time to get the ball downfield. There was no time for receivers to run double moves. It got to a point where Dak was looking for the dump off as he took the snap. On top of that it looked like the Cards were bumping the receivers a lot disrupting the timing of some plays. This is where I think Moore fails the team. He does not seem to make adjustments to the defense.

Jarwin should be back barring further injury. He is not a great blocker either but I think if you are going to ask a TE to block Chandler Jones, it would be better to ask Jarwin to do it than Schultz who is an awful blocker.

The next time they play, they need to run the ball inside and outside. Running outside on some quick pitches may be more effective because the Cards were sending guys up the middle. But they play a fast and aggressive defense.

On defense the Cowboys need to contain the outside runs.

100% accurate, at least thats exactly what I saw. I guess it's easier for some on here to simply blame the qb. This game however, it was the line that betrayed us 90% of the time. They deserve the blame more than anyone. Well them and KM, because he can't seem to adjust. We just keep doing more of the same. I'm hoping against hope these coaches are holding out for the playoffs, although that's really far fetched.

Why do you have a hyphen in your username?

That’s how you think “Captain Crash” is written? With a hyphen in there?

Explains so much about you.

Did you even watch the all 22? If you genuinely want to have the discussion give me the time stamp for the plays you believe his inability to read the defense or make progressions failed us.

so he's not playing the rope a dope, it's just him being dak.

seems like dak is too slow to read the field. I guess seeing only half or a quarter of the field is his problem. he's good with one read and that's it I guess design plays where he looks at a quarter of the field and that's it. throws it or runs. not much you can do with a guy who's scared and can't see the field. Moore is good but he's no Houdini.
it seems that way until you watch again and realize they were rushing 4 and dropping 7 into coverage, which takes away a lot of passing lanes, so he seems hesitant, because he didn't see the passing lane. the problem wasn't that alone, usually he should have more time if they are rushing 4 and we have, 5 or 6 to block....but they were very effective rushing with 4.....

I'm curious to see what you are seeing. If you're being sincere point it out. Which plays?
willrise I like you, you're a good poster in here and in the covid zone. I'm tired of dak, just like I was tired of Jason Garrett. they are no different, he's the Jason Garrett of quarterbacks. we don't have enough good players to make the lesser Trent Dilfer look good. just my opinion.

I hear you buddy. Honestly I went on there expecting to see Dak look pretty bad. I had to watch plays twice because it's difficult to watch the wrs and the line at the same time.

It's startling seeing how poorly we blocked. I know it's the NFL and wrs won't be running free often and the qb only has a small period of time but I frequently saw defenders on the wrong side of the wrs route and pressure coming.

It almost looked like we had a tale. Because they knew exactly what to call and they executed.

Admittedly I did see Dak place the ball poorly a few times, but in all sincerity this oline is a problem. We better both hope it's not the 40 million dollar qb on his own, because if that's the case we are screwed for several years.

That my friend is why I'd love to believe we can correct most out issues with better blocking. I've spent my share if time cursing qb1 as well. I can't do it this time.

That is a good point, when you can stuff the run without committing extra defenders and pressure the QB with 4 it puts the offense in a real bind.

The Chiefs and Cards did just that and made life tough on the offense most of the game.

Having Chandler jones on the line really helps.....

Pressure is not just the result of the offensive line not blocking the defensive line. Sometimes it is the result of not seeing who is actually rushing and who is dropping off into coverage. To me it looked like Dallas was unprepared for the Cardinals defensive scheme. I expect the Cardinals will probably change a few things up next time around but overall, I expect they will try stuff that worked again, at least once. I know this. I would not ask Schultz to block a DE even with help from Pollard since neither of them can block at all.

on the Dak fumble, the Fox replay appeared to show Wilson wide open and in Daks direct line of sight before he decides to tuck it and run. Does the All 22 show the same thing?
