We all know he has said the brace gives him more stability.. but I can speak from experience that it also takes away some speed, quickness and maneuverability. If they weren't lying and he can do no more damage playing on it then he should be good to take that thing off come playoff time. Hopefully it's healed enough that he can do some damage..

If he gets a hole it won’t matter. He had one called back Sunday. Shultz held. Didn’t need to.. He was off like a shot. You have to run more than 12 times..

I can't answer an open ended question? lol.
Maybe your asking will he contribute to the winning coming up? I say...yes.

No one to my knowledge ever said it would heal while still playing on it with a brace. Or did I miss that bit of info?

The mental support the brace provides tells me he wears it.
Pollard should get no less than an equal number of totes as Zeke.
I would go carry ratio heavy with Pollard the first 3 quarters than close it out with with Zeke.

Can we pump him full of PEDs and see if he can perform to a level in which he doesn’t need excuses made for him?

It doesn’t matter, Zeke is done. I expect him to have surgery after the season. It’s got to need surgery or else they would have rested him. It’s probably a meniscus, acl, mcl. Regardless Dallas has no RBs for the playoffs. I bet they think Pollard will be ready in 2 weeks but that is so risky to push him. I’d shut them both down and roll with Clement. Draft 2 RBs next year. The season is too long, teams will need 3 and 4 RBs now just to make it through a season.

Speed isn’t the issue. He can’t make routine cuts on that knee. When he tries it collapses and he falls forward!

What matters is the offense requires a ground game. If Zeke misses holes in playoffs bench him and run Pollard immediately.

Without the ground game this team will nor advance in the playoffs. It's pretty simple really, but hard to do at the Sametime. It will be interesting watching what happens.

The only thing that brace may do is slow down an all out sprint. Zeke isn't running away from anyone even if he didn't have the brace. I wore one too and once you get used to it it's no biggie. Did they ever say what his knee injury was?

I used to love Zeke as a player and thought he was the engine that drove the offense early in his career.

The past month or so have seemed to be a precipitous drop off in performance. I don't blame the line like many others here. He just isn't explosive with the ball in his hands. Even worse, he has taken to dancing as he gets up to the line instead of picking a hole and sprinting at it like he used to. At a minimum, he used to blow defenders back a few yards even when there wasn't an opening. Now defenders just grab a leg and he falls over.

I sure hope this fall off is injury related and that some time will heal it and improve his play. IMO, the run game is the key for post season success.
