So if we get stuck with the 4th seed, we play whoever finishes runner up in the West, correct? And under what scenario would we play Philly?

We would play Philly if Bucs, Rams and Cardinals all lose. Might be just the Bucs and one of the others.

Bucs losing doesn't matter unless both of the West teams lose.

To make it easy to understand, I believe that we play the runner up of the west....unless LA and AZ both lose. Then several things are in play. Am I correct ???

Yes, we play either the Rams or the Cards if we're 4th seed. But Dallas can be 3rd seed if the Rams and Cards lose. In that case we'd play the 49ers.

That is correct. If the Rams and Cards lose we are the 3rd seed and play the Niners.

The playoffs have expanded to seven teams.

I believe we’d need Tampa, Arizona, and LA to lose in order for us to play Philly again.

You are right. They would only play the 7th seed Eagles. They are nobody.

Yep. I'd actually rather play the Rams over the Cards or 49ers. I know the Rams are good, but their QB is about as mobile as my grandmother was at 90, and Stafford like to give out donations, gifts!
