A game like tonight means absolutely nothing. But I did enjoy putting up 50+ on them none the less. But every playoff team in the NFC has warts. You could make the claim Green Bay doesn't. But Dallas has as good a chance to make it to the Championship game as any other team.

They played the Eagles scrubs tonight. Dak, being emboldened, engaged some vertical routes, and did very well. The Dallas RBs ran hard. Great workout. Now...employ the same mid-field strategy against the Cards and/or the Rams.

Wow - this forum really makes me sad. All these “realists” and even an admitted pessimist. Nobody saying just because we put up 50 on the Eagles “backups” that makes us ready. And did you see the cast of characters we had playing in the back on defense? They weren’t exactly our first teamers.

You guys who are such realists and pessimistic turds need to go start your own forum where you stroke each other and revel in how much you don’t believe in Dak and Zeke and the Cowboys as a team.

EDIT: before you whine I didn’t say you shouldn’t be allowed in cowboy zone - I just was saying you should have a section called “Cowboys will never succeed zone” or “we don’t believe in the these Cowboys and never will zone”

And I don't care what you say. They won against an absolutely incapable and depleted team. Says absolutely nothing about the playoffs.

With that being said, of course they can go all the way. But not because of this game

but simply because anything can happen anyway. It's tournament mode now, everything is set back to zero. Simple as that.

I agree. I feel we have just as good a shot as anyone. This game didn't do much for me. But I'm standing by what I've said since December. If we play our game, offense and defense and ST then we can beat anyone anywhere. If we don't play a complete game then we'll lose in the WC or divisional round. If Dallas plays up to their potential on offense and defense and Greg makes kicks then no team wants anything to do with us. JMO

Last night's game was nothing more than a January preseason game. Both teams were missing key starters and used a vanilla game plan.......nearly impossible to evaluate.
