I believe all of those guys were missing when we beat a "depleted" Eagles team. The Eagles do not get a pass on this game any more than we would had we lost.

Parsons is arguably your best player on either side of the ball. Diggs had his name come up in DPOY conversations. Brown, the other starting CB, has been solid as a rock this year. Kearse led the team in tackles. Smith, when in the game, is still one of the best LTs playing. Gallup stretches the field and opens up everything underneath. Pollard, in my opinion, is the best back on the team.

The Cowboys didn't just beat a depleted team. They did it without some of their best players on both sides of the ball.

This is what the early injury list looked like. I realize some of these guys played, but this was the report.

CB Trevon Diggs (illness)
S Jayron Kearse (hamstring)
RB Tony Pollard (foot)
S Donovan Wilson (illness)

WR Anthony Brown
LB Francis Bernard
DT Quinton Bohanna
DT Trysten Hill
S Malik Hooker
CB Jourdan Lewis
LB Keanu Neal

RB Rico Dowdle
OT Mitch Hyatt
TE Blake Jarwin (activation window is open)
FB Sewo Olonilua

No doubt. They had a bunch of people out/not play.

My point is that we did as well. We had really, really key players out. And, we didn't just win...we blew them out. You don't get a pass because you have players out. We didn't and they don't.

None of that means anything if they don't beat arizona
100% correct. I'm happy with this regular season. Happy with this last regular season game.

But if we don't win in the playoffs...the year still ended in failure.

That’s what Cowboys do with weak teams

4 starters or contributors on defense

2 on offense

that’s a rather large discrepancy in talent

In years of past we would have been in a shootout with them and winning by a last minute touchdown and the rhetoric would have been 'division games are always tough'. It's only fairly recently that we've been completely blowing out our division.

They had a bunch of people out but the Cowboys did what they were supposed to do against that level of talent, which was 'blow them out'. The team played as they should have. A lot of our key defensive players were out so we got shredded for a while on defense. Our 1s were playing against their backups and we shredded them.

I agree, people should stop thinking we had a full starter squad out there. Also, I'm sure the Eagles had some of their starting OL and DL on the field, though I honestly don't know.

“The Cowboys are on the edge of failure” is a best$eller! The worst 12-5 Division Champ in history!

Dallas is supposed to dominate every opponent, and if they don’t, they suck. If they do, the other team’s either depleted or a fraud. Moving the goalposts, the tactic of every “journalist”.

People would be freaking out had that game been tight. They looked sharp and made it look easy.

None of this matters. We'll see what this team really is over the next few weeks. If this game was fool's gold, we'll know the answer sooner than later.

They did their job and now have an opportunity to move up to the 2 or 3 seed which could help avoid Green Bay till the conference championship.
