That is exactly why I did not go there 3 years ago. When friends came back, some of them Philly fans, they told me, I was right about not going there, Philly fans are the worst, sore losers. What else would you expect and to top it off, their team doesn’t even compete, why would you pay to see that.

I’ve only ever seen Dallas games in Detroit. I’d like to do a road trip to a game in Dallas…that would be the ultimate game experience.

Sounds like the typical Philadelphia fan.

Went to a flyers game years ago in sunrise(fl panthers). The level of vulgar language and just trashiness from both sexes was ridiculous.

I've dealt with a lot of other fan bases. Any philly team fanbase is the worst

There is a secret to going to a Philly game . Do this and you will be fine. All you have to do is bring Randy White's mother along. She will handle everything! :D For those interested the story is easy to find on line....and its a doozey!

It’s on my bucket list of things to do. Also looking at trying to buy a condo on Kensington Ave in Philly.

In general, I try to avoid large groups of people with a common tribalistic motive. They tend to lose a good portion of their humanity.

Reminds me of a scene from a bad movie (Armageddon) but true. Everyone should probably be prepared for the scariest environment imaginable when going to a game in Philthy.

Oscar : Ok, Mr. Truman, let's say that we actually do land on this. What's it gonna be like up there

Truman : 200 degrees in the sunlight, minus 200 in the shade, canyons of razor-sharp rock, unpredictable gravitational conditions, unexpected eruptions, things like that.

Oscar : Okay, so the scariest environment imaginable. Thanks. That's all you gotta say, scariest environment imaginable.

I’ve been to a few Cowboys Eagles games in Philly. I thought since this one didn’t mean much to either team it would be a calm experience. My 10 year old wanted to see his Cowboys in person.

Wow what a bunch of low life’s. I’ll say some of the Cowboys fans were instigating the philly trash but most of these philly fans are just complete garbage humans. The females may be worse than the males with the garbage that comes out of their mouth. I got to see an Eagles fan harass a cowboys fan to the point the cowboys fan pushed the dude down the stairs. A bunch of eagles fan swarmed him after. Of course the cans of beer were flying. It was a brisk 18 degrees out.

If anyone else reading it was there I was sitting in section 242.
I got to watch my team beat up an eagles team tonight but honestly I’m more affected by the loss of hope I’m feeling from mankind. Passion is one thing. But to want to and try to hurt people over something you have no control over is disgusting.

I’ll have to have a talk with my kids in the morning to see if I can unwrap what’s in their minds after that experience. These people are just so trashy. Like depressingly comfortable with being a garbage human.
I imagine the beer is big part of the reason for the way they act.
The nfl should not allow beer to be sold at games, but since it is a big sponsor of network games they would lose a lot of money
and billionaires like money more than civility.

It's been a goal of mine for my entire life to see a Cowboys game at every NFL stadium, but I'm still racking my brain on how to see one at Philly because I won't take any nonsense from their trash fans and it will almost certainly end in altercation.

I've seen games at FedEx with no trouble, four times here locally in Carolina, and even took a trip to the Meadowlands to see us in 2019. Giants fans were actually blue collar and nice to me. One fellow I met on the train from New York even invited my wife and I to sit in his PSLs with him and bought us beers.

Thankfully your son is old enough to probably understand what was happening around him. You'll just have to calmly explain that Eagles fans are a special breed that can't be explained rationally.

I live in Maryland and went to one Dallas game in Philadelphia.

Never again. I will say I've never had ANY problem @ a WFT or Ravens game... ever.

In fact the WFT/Cowboys games have almost a family reunion feel to them. Giants stadium was even ok... not great. but nothing like Philadelphia.

Their fans are despicable. Absolutely despicable.
And what is the reason for this one city being so much worse than other citys?? Some college should do a scientific study on it lol.

I’ve had Dallas season tickets from well before my grandson was born. The one game I wouldn’t let him go to until the last couple of years was the Philly game. I respect fans passionate about their team, especially if they’re not a Johnny Come Lately fan. But there’s a difference between passion and purely reprobate. Unfortunately, the vast majority of the Philly fans I’ve witnessed at games fall into the later category.

Hostile territory for a Cowboys fan... not a shocker. Scum of the Earth Mecca, for sure. How could you go there expecting otherwise?

Thanks for sharing. Glad you and your son made it out safely.

My aunt went there and saw a pregnant woman (cowboys fan) get kicked in the stomach (by an eagles fan) in the late 90’s/early 2000’s.

I would never go to that place and I’ve faced Rico act charges; if convicted I could’ve done 60+ years in prison, and I wouldn’t even go there with my ‘friends’ let alone my 10 year old. Those people are like human pit bulls (the kind that were raised to fight), and THEY honestly think we’re the worst fan base on the planet.

I’m glad you and your son made it out of there, some of those people are a special kind of stupid, and the night games are the most dangerous games because they’ve been drinking all day and blowing them out just adds fuel to the fire.
Ive seen Dallas play in over 30 stadiums, but nothing comes close to Philly.

I thought I had some stories from the Vet.....and I definitely do....but I can't top that.

I can't even really type out some of the things that actually happened and have it mean something. Had to be there.

I'm hesitant about reducing credibility since most of it is truly unbelievable.

Still, what you said.....I'm sick.

I was just telling my wife that ive been a cowboys fan since im 3 years old and live just over an hour north of philly. My dad used to take me to games when I was young (him and my bro are steelers fans), and we are talking early 80s, and the most I would get would be some good natured ribbing and you would hear people yelling "cowboys" etc. But really not that bad and I enjoyed the games. Then the last couple of times, Im in my mid teens and it changed. I wouldnt wear cowboys gear, but it would be obvious who i was cheering for and we were afraid. Just listening to their threats to "any cowboys fans here" were enough for me to not want to ever go back.

Each and every time someone on this board visits the Linc, they come away relieved they survived and vow to never do it again.

Strange as it may seem, if you go watch the Phillies play across the street, those fans are just fine. Very good experience. But still, you have to be in Philly to get there, so nope.
