I noticed that also.

Having said that, those were likely 4th string DLinemen.

He has better length than Biadasz.

Probably guys plucked and pulled of their own practice squad ..cuz so many covid affections ... but phlly got deal with it there way

I like the kid but I could see him pushing MCGovern too
CW is gone and MCGovern hasn’t been that great on left side
Start Farniok at Center.

Bench Biadasz, keep him as a backup at C and G.

Keep developing Alarcón; give him more playing time at LG during camp and preseason 2022.

I’m a Clement fan. Seems like a solid player still. Not flashy but solid for sure.

I live in Big Ten country (Michigan) and I remember this kid at Wisconsin...he's very solid all the way around and I'm glad because Zeke is a shell of his former self. I was real disappointed they let him play last night. Of course we know that Pollard has the foot issue so.....yeah. I truly thought Clement was more explosive to and through the hole(s) last night than Zeke. Don't mean to dog Elliott but....he just doesn't look RIGHT

Matt Farniok.....
The Farniok brothers are following in the footsteps of their father, Brad, who suited up at St. Cloud State. Matt's older brothers, Derek (Oklahoma) and Tom (Iowa State) played football in the Big 12. His younger brother, Will, joined him in Lincoln a couple of years ago. Matt was a Parade All-American and South Dakota's Gatorade Player of the Year in 2015. As a redshirt freshman two years later, he started four of seven contests played, two at right guard and two at right tackle. He was the team's Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2019 after starting all 12 games at right tackle for the second straight season. Matt was named honorable mention All-Big Ten by league coaches in 2020, starting all eight games -- one at center and seven at right guard.
He was our 7th round pick,,, try and keep up .... :D
@CATCH17 hasn't got his "knowledge" from Madden yet

We need a top 5 player at OC and have to upgrade at OG in this off season if we are going to compete for a SB

Dak gets the yips when pressured and needs a clean pocket and a good run game

I don’t think the people we have now are the answer
So Dak can throw now and like every other QB needs a balanced attack........:lmao2:

Dak Haters....Eureka!!!:lmao2::lmao2::mad:

Obviously, you have to be an athlete, but attitude can take you a long way. I love guys who aren't satisfied just to get in the way, but want to crush people. Another off season of power lifting & peanut butter sandwiches, & who knows. The ability to get to the second level is crucial.

I want Green Bay and Rodgers in the Frozen Tundra. I believe that that game is totally winnable!
I used to think so, but the jury is still out on Dak, IMHO. Dude needs to get out of his own head & just ball out. Running our talented crop of backs would help with that.

That's not true at all. Dak leads the league in TDs against the blitz with almost doubled the 2nd highest QB and its not even close. ..... far from the yips when pressured.

Dak haters don't need to make up lies, plenty other things to criticize but to say Dak is terrible when pressured is false and just a silly untrue statement. You should beg teams to blitz every play so the offense scores more points

I was surprised last night when he got playing time and how well he played. It had to be a thrill for him to get some snaps and get a boost of confidence. He will be one to watch next summer to see if he can take the next step.

I agree. Another heck of a late round / undrafted draft pick. Between he and Steele, we look to have some nice hits so far.

That’s an option but not sure you want anymore change than you have to have and a center who’s played one career college game and a guard who’s never played an nfl game both starting
We have to replace CW no matter what
But Farniok has more experience at guard though he only played 7 games at guard. But guard is easier than center

Saw him pancake the DT and was blocking two at a time downfield on another play, looks like a beast, don't care what string you are playing against. Who's with me ?

That would be *great*.

We're very thin on the interior oline going into next year. Martin, Biadasz, McGovern for three positions with *no* backups. If Farniok can be that one backup we can count on, maybe we can just draft some young guys and not carry some bridge veteran.

Farniok is very smart, very athletic and very aggressive. The most important position on the Oline starts at Center. Plug in Farniok at Center, it will make life much easier for both of our Guards and boost this Oline overall.

What are your feelings about playing Collins at left guard next year with Steele at RT?
Bro, that's a good idea, but Collins would need to buy into it. If he's forced to make the move, he won't produce as well as he could. My other worry is his age. Can he handle having to pull, drive, anchor in and get more physical playing inside at his age since La'el will be 29 by the time next season starts?

He will get a shot in camp but I think for a rookie with no experience guard is much easier and then you only have one change instead of two
