More people have voted 1 and done. Wow! I love polls like this one. Shows you who are the fans and who are the trolls. I've said this 100 times and I'll make it 101 right here. Steven A. Smith is right, we have the worst fanbase in sports.

I said before the season started we would be 13-4, I was close. Said we would be the #1 offense and be ranked in between 7 to 11 in total defense, I was close there too. I said we would have a bye. So I'm off there. Said we would retire Brady because his age will catch up to him, and beat GB getting that monkey off our backs and then beat the Chiefs in the SB 37-23, with Dak being the MVP. I'm still rolling with that prediction. GO COWBOYS!!

I love it. Shows a majority of this board are just trolls and haters that do nothing but come here to trash our team. I'm gonna say we are playing in the NFC championship game and have no idea what happens there. Screw it SB 6 baby!

How do you think the Cowboys will do in the playoffs this year?

Win going away in the wildcard round, despite the Vegas hype. Then they get a rematch against Tom Brady and the Bucs, one they should win.

It ends with the Mike McCarthy rematch in the frozen tundra.

My highly emotional side says we win it all. My realistic side says we beat the 9ers and then beat the Bucs and lose to the Packers with help from the refs. But I stand by what I've said for weeks, if we play our game, no TO's on offense, getting TO's on defense and score in the redzone we will win the super bowl. I just hope we can do that for 4 games. I just pray that if we lose any game the refs are not a factor.

The homer in me says we win it all, the homer has been close enough so far so I'm sticking with him/her/it

Wouldn't surprise me if they lose next week but they could also make the SB just as easy.
Unfortunately, officiating will play as bug a factor as the players in determining which it is. And that goes for all the teams. A questionable call at a mist important time changes the outcome. Not to mention the absolute blown calls like Garrappalo getting tomahawk chopped to the head and no call with the ref starring it down. The 49ers overcame that, but not if that had been the last drive if the game.

If the Boys play up to their potential you won't have to worry about a few questionable calls. If they do this 7 points in 3 quarters crap and then finally decide to make a run at it in the 4th we'll lose a closer game and people will blame the refs when really there is much more to it than that. can not let it come down to 1 play. Gotta start strong and end it strong.

True. But these are the playoffs and there are 7 good teams. Each game should be close other than maybe, just maybe, the Bucs and Eagles. And I don’t write off the Eagles in that game because if their lines, especially the DL. The Rams and Saints played to their potential 3 years ago, yet that game was largely determined by an officiating decision.

Yes that game came down to the wire but they played for 60 minutes with more than enough opportunities to not have this happen. It was a memorable 1 play but it was still only 1 play out of many that didn't go there way. The teams job is to not let it come down to such things.

This is really true. Since each team is closely matched to the next, it boils down to matchup, game plans, and luck.

Several threads recently about what will make people "believe" or "happy" with this team, and the answer is simple: win in the playoffs.

Getting beyond the divisional round would be the best season in 26 years. That will require two wins.

Anything more would be gravy. Anything less would be "same ol' Cowboys", again.

We will lose against the Cardinals in round 1, unfortunately.

Kyler Murray is 8-0 at Cowboys Stadium going back to high school.

There are consequences for dropping to the #4 seed.
We are the #3 seed

Westlake HS is undefeated at Jerry World too (or pretty close to it). Does that mean Westlake can beat any NFL team there too? That logic is on the same level as your Kyler Murray argument.

What I want to happen and what I think will happen are two completely different things.

Of course I want the Cowboys to go 4-0 and win the SB, but if I was betting my house on what I think will actually happen I would go 1-1 so that is how I voted. Beat the 49ers in the wildcard round and then lose to Tom Brady on the road in the divisional round.

The 26 year curse unfortunately is not going to be exorcised this year.

I'm hoping for a SB appearance and win...hoping very much! I'm predicting a loss in the division round. There's a multitude of reasons for that, but they all boil down to one root cause:
