NFC Playoff Teams Want Dallas

I don’t believe people say these things because they hate us or dislike us…it’s because they know we are inconsistent. We might look like a super bowl contender one week and then look like a deer in the headlights the next. We are our own worst enemy and have been for years. Want people to respect us? Play sound football week in and week out. Be consistent. We do this to ourselves. Just my 2 cents.

We have been up and down. I think what he was saying is that teams would take their chances that we had a down game vs the other teams.

I can understand why. The Cowboys do look like one of the weaker teams right now, especially the way the Cardinals handled them. But if the good Cowboys team comes out in the playoffs, those teams hoping to get them may regret that wish.

It's going to be interesting to hear from the DC.com podcasts this week. With the exception of Nate and Mickey I bet they all will talk about how Dallas has no chance against SF.

If I was MM I'd play that clip daily.

Who can blame them .

Even if we beat SF I don’t think anyone besides some homers think we’ll go up and beat Tampa or Green Bay. And there’s no shame in losing to either. We could be a tough out though.

Everyone I’ve heard from so far in Dallas says it’s not a good matchup for us with their running game and defense.

Thank you for saying it, it’s the media and maybe some fans saying teams want to play Dallas. NFL teams play whoever is on their schedule. No one has heard any team say they want to play Dallas in the playoffs. NFL teams don’t have the level of disrespect for other NFL teams that fans and the media sometimes do.

Just a current status here:

Wilson’s second touchdown meant that Dallas scored 11 straight touchdowns on red zone opportunities. That’s a huge turnaround for a team whose offense couldn’t seem to do much of anything for a couple of weeks. His second touchdown also marked the second multi-touchdown game of the receiver’s career.

Crazy how much fear and respect is being shown to SF lol…. Their “mighty running game” averages 127.4 ypg while our “struggling run game” averages 124.6 ypg.

Dallas is at home. We have the better QB. Our D forces more turnovers. Their QB gives up more turnovers.

I am not saying this game will be “easy”— what playoff game is? But damn— there is a lot of hand wringing and whining about this matchup with most not giving Dallas a shot at winning lol
