Been saying this for a while. This is a major problem for this offense. We would be significantly better if we knew how to get this guy the ball

He’s a catch and run guy and we’ve always sucked at getting catch and run guys in catch and run situations.

Dez Bryant was one of the best run after catch receivers I’ve ever seen and we rarely put him in those situations.

if Wilson is way less expensive, we should resign him and let gallop walk .

or let both walk, we need cap space.

I'll admit to being a fan of Cedrick Wilson. I'm hoping to see him perform well enough to convince most of us that he's a step up from Gallup. I think he'll convince us that he's more of a consistently good performer if he's given the opportunity to prove it in the upcoming playoffs. ;)

Gallup’s a better player, but we’re very lucky to have such excellent depth at WR.

Plus, Ced has that QB experience we can take advantage of with aggressive defenses.

Agreed with part 1.

Part 2, is Dak needs to lead his passes to the receivers. better enabling the YAC.

Even with Romo it was something we were bad at.

Owens is the goat at run after catch but they didn’t put him in those situations much at all either.

I have to say I've been less impressed with Lamb as the season has gone on. I was hoping he would kick on after the walk-off touchdown against NE but he's not doing it at that "top" level WR1 I'd want to see.

If you look at Waddle, Chase, Jefferson 1st & 2nd year players, they've been "game changers" for their team this season in quite a few instances. Lamb for me is a "nice" piece on offense but not that game changer. He looks like he has the tools so I am willing to wait but thought we'd get more year 2.

......and if I'm being picky, gonna get stuck in to the pizza and cheeseburgers in the off season and get a bit more weight on that frame for year 3.

We will see if Wilson is the real deal or not. He produced during the early part of the season when Gallup was out and that was before defenses started playing them differently after the Broncos game. If Wilson can continue to be Dak's WR security blanket like Beasley was then we will know he is better for this offense and deserves big money

No, I don't want to see anyone get hurt especially a Cowboys player but now that Gallup is out the Cowboy's offense will be more efficient and explosive with Cedrick Wilson at receiver. Every time that guy is on the field he's always making a big play somewhere. Ya ya I know Gallup can make a lot of circus catches but when Wilson plays it just seems like the offense moves the ball with a lot more consistency so hopefully, we'll see a lot more of that this week against the Niners.
I agree. I think Gallup is the better wide receiver, but I think Wilson is the better fit for our offense. Also, he can throw the ball really well which I’m sure we’ll be seeing a few times in the playoffs.

Believe it or not, I think our offense looks better with Wilson because he becomes the slot receiver instead of Ceedee. I’m not sure slot is his ideal position.

Unless he makes that infamous 3rd year jump, I don’t see the point in resigning him if he stays at this level. He hasn’t improved at all from his rookie year and is easily replaceable right now.
