It is hard to believe that teams would want him as a HC this soon after his horrible time in Atlanta. Quinn seems like Wade Phillips type of coach. They are great DC, but stink as HCs.
Me and you see this 100% the same way.

If i'm the Bears i'd real careful about just designating HC's that could overlook quality HC candidates
Biggest key is getting a quality HC ..period. Regardless of being a offensive or defensive. .

That gotta be " offense " is probably what derailed Bears with Matt Nagy to begin with.
You hire a Sean Dermott, and let Dermott hire top quality OC's and asst's. to help hone that young QB.
- Belichek has his Josh Daniels
- Jimmy hired his Norv Turner
- Parcells had his Sean Payton
- Indy hired Tom Dungy a defensive coach, but kept top notch OC Tom Moore for Manning
- i really think Wash. Ron Rivera is a good HC. stuck with very mediocre QB personnel. (ditto with Steelers' Mike Tomlin)
Good points. But I think it’s easier to find a good DC than an OC. That certainly seems to be the case this year with the HCs that have been fired. But you’re absolutely right, the first priority is to find a good HC.

Its amazing what a year will do......so they guy's rep was so bad from Atlanta he had to go back to being a DC.......months later he's now a head coach candidate again lol...the NFL will never learn but good for him. There's some nice things to like about him as a coach.
Some times a change of scenery is what a guy needs. Just look at Bill Belichick.

Quinn would be a good fit for the Bears. I do not want him to leave but it is understandable if he wants to lead a team.

He could be a good fit for many teams...but his success will depend on who he hires as his OC...bet he tries to take one of the Cowboys assistant coaches with him. Someone who knows KM's offense.

Kinda like the coaches who go to Alabama to rebuild their reputation.

Both Moore and Quinn are gone, they see the writing on the wall with Prescot. The 40 million dollar a year bum who isn't going to lead this team anywhere anytime soon. They'll both bail before this team hits rock bottom and they don't want their careers tried to this dude..................

Be ready the Dakstanies will come after you:)
