NO TOs by the offense and keep the penalties to a minimum. we win if this happens.

we lost 3 games 2, 3. 3 points all playoff teams it was the penatlys and TOs in those games that lost them. it's that simple.
we play our game , no TOs, and minimal penalties, we win.

the rams win without Stafford's 2 picks and penalties.

Keys to a victory:
1.Excellent tackling. This goes without saying.
2.Take good angles.
3.Tackle Deebo in the open field.
4. Controlling the trenches-Offense and Defense
5. Conditioning will be huge.
6. Dak--pinpoint passing.
Most of all: Discipline and Mental Toughness.
Good points....I might also add...

Run Dak to get 1st downs.
Roll Dak out to complete passes, Biadias and Williams will fail to hold the middle as usual.
Bury the ego and run Pollard more. Playaction will be more effective due to Pollards explosiveness. K Moore need to study our tendencies and devise a counter to them i,e fake the WR screen and hit the TE on the opposite seem.

The 49ers can do what teams need to do to beat us.

They can shut the run down and force Dak to beat you.

We're 0-5 with Dak this year when we don't get at least 100 rushing yards.

I think Kearse will match up better with Kittle then Neal would

Probably so, but the hope is that you don’t have to take from the back end in passing situations and avoid from being burned deep.

Neal used to be a safety also and part of why DQ transitioned him to LB is so he could help in coverage at the 2nd level.

San Fran keeps you from having posessions so you have to be efficient. Every drive needs points, and you should look to get turnovers as well. Punting/3 and out is a recipe for disaster.

It's basic, take full advantage of any mistakes Garappolo makes. We'll need Jimmy's help to win this unless our offence has found its mojo again.

I hear some are worried about us against the 49ers because they just went on a 7-2 run and are believed to have this amazing rush offense which is 9th in the league. Eagles are 1st and yes I know we didn't play Jalen hurts and we were up right away so they had to pass.

So there's your answer.

Get up on these guys early and force Jimmy to throw.

I like this matchup better than Arizona (home) or the Rams (road and refs, even though they just lost to the 9er's)

Defense: Let #1 1 got after Jimmy on obvious passing downs and play the run first and foremost. We know they want to establish the run and then play action and keep our dynamic pass rush from pinning their ears back. Make them 1 dimensional. Diggs on Deebo Samuel is a big gamble for them and that's the beauty of it. Put Neal on Kittle all game. That's his job, George Kittle. Let Micah play the run and go after the QB. Don't even divert from that. If Kittle is rocking Neal's world then give him safety help immediately. LVE is LVE and he has to pick up whatever slack sideline to sideline, that's his job. I really like our defense against their offense and our first order of business should be that we take care of the run first.

Offense: I like our offense against their defense and I believe our tackles can take care of their DE's which is the strength of their defense. Their DT's measure up perfectly against our suspect C and LG and I like that it's a wash. I like Martin and Laél working the right side and banging on Bosa to slow his wheels down as an early important point of emphasis. Our WR group and TE's should be effective. The 9er's know the Rams 5-0 against them, like we know our division and are built specifically for their division. Don't sweat them beating the Rams.

We're at home and the refs should be as fair as we can imagine in this playoff game. We don't have to worry about the short week because it hurts them more playing later and travelling to us. They also had to brawl out a long divisional, playoff caliber game tonight while we just did some winter temperature warm-up practice in our game. Jimmy is the worst of all the QB's in the NFC playoffs and he's playing injured. We keep the penalties down and don't lose the turnover battle and we should have this.

Our whole team matches up very well vs their team and it's heavily in our favor personnel wise. 5 guys we need to watch from them. LT Trent Williams (out for this game, so was legit injured), Nick Boas (DE), Arik Armstead (DE), Deebo Samuel (WR), George Kittle (TE).

Aggressive with the pass early to get a lead and let the pass rush tee off. Make Garrapolo beat you. He is prone to turnovers.

Deeboo samuel is the guy that we need to shut down. He is a big part of their run game.

Whichever team's oline and d line combination plays better will win.
Guess that's not a plan but a general observation opinion on the key to success.
Pretty Captain Obvious type take, I know. lol

Defensively I think we will see a lot of DLaw working inside on DL and Parson playing on the end. DLaw ability in stopping the run is big in this matchup

Excellent points. Especially the point about Kellen Moore.

That's why I want to save 1 safety deep and have the other 1 help with Deebo so it's not all on the cb.

This is why Neal has to come up big this game. He needs to show up against Kittle. If he's getting burned like most defenders do, he's going to need some safety help also or Brown might have to go to the slot and deal with Kittle.

Their DE's are the challenge and we should be fine. Their DT's are nothing special like our C and LG.

If they flip Bosa and Armstead to our left side that can be a problem. I don't think Bosa challenges Tyron much but Armstead against Williams and Biadasz scares the hell outta me. I see shades of Chris Jones if that happens..

Kellen's gameplan will be the same as all season.

Zeke straight up the middle for 1 yard.

I agree.. I like Kearse much better in that matchup. Dude has been ballin all season.. Neal in coverage is a bad matchup for the Cowboys.. He's a thumper not a cover guy..

He better not trot out the shotgun delay up the middle as our only running play again.. We absolutely lose if he does. Attack the edges, stop asking our tight ends to block all pro DEs, and quit running up the middle behind our two weakest linemen..
