Even if the Cowboys had the #1 seed most people would expect the Cowboys to do Cowboys things.

Well, they are speaking about the past. This team hasn't played in the playoffs with this coaching staff, so who cares about the media and their opinions based off of old teams from the past. This team will write it's own history, and it starts Sunday. :starspin:

The fact that they don't get respect is a most powerful motivational tool, especially for the defense.

They need to lock down on the Broncos offense, this will probably be a low scoring game.

Do you blame them? No one will respect Dallas until they do something. And even then, it will be backhanded compliments. You should be used to it by now.

I get it.

Honestly, the boys haven’t been consistent since the Denver game.. blowing out bad teams with backup QBs and losing to good teams with franchise QBs. They just don’t have the momentum and / or mojo they had in the first 6 games.

Meanwhile the 9ers have a lot of momentum beating good teams, especially the Rams (a division rival no less)

but hey, it’s playoffs time and everyone is starting a new season. If teams (Cowboys) were coasting, it’s time to nut up and go into overdrive

One thing this Cowboys team needs to shake off is the "guilt by association" ploy the talking heads in the media always play.

We're all well aware of how long this team has failed in the playoffs. But this started a long time ago when Aikman, Smith, and Irvin were still the franchise cornerstones and Dak Prescott was three years old.

These aren't those Cowboys, nor Parcells' Cowboys, or the Romo/Wade Phillips or Romo/Jason Garrett era teams. They're not even the same Cowboys that Dak Prescott quarterbacked in 2016 and 2018. None of us have seen a McCarthy coached Dallas team with Dan Quinn's defense in the playoffs.

In summary, lets give them a chance.

You know, I was thinking the same thing today; but even on the DC own radio shows like The Break and Talking Cowboys. The general tone is that the Cowboys are flat and hitting a niners team that’s in stride.

Cowboys are seemingly the “favorites” by record only.
