Our OL and Dak, combined, will be obliged to put forth their best game of the year vs. San Francisco.
If we're able to do that we'll win. If not, well, let's just perish the thought. Just enjoy the game!

Mike said the same thing before the first Washington game. He was nervous about the game and talked about how physical Washington was and everything. We all saw how that game played out.

Thats comforting to know, thank you!

Mike isn't dumb. He knows Dallas thrives in an underdog role, even though technically they're not dogs, as least when it comes to the betting.

Dallas has played their BEST BALL when the narrative going in was how challenging the other team would be for these Cowboys. Prior to the New England game for example.

And yet, when everyone's high on the Cowboys, everyone's picking Dallas, i.e. prior to the Denver and Arizona games, the team doesn't show up.

They shouldn't *need* extra motivation, but it does appear this team plays with a chip on their shoulder, until they become the prohibitive favorites.

We are the #1 Offense in the league. Despite what people think I saw some stats showing they only ran a few more times than us and only got a few more yards than us. The difference was they have more rushing tds than us. We have more passing TDs. We actually have a slightly longer yards per carry average..

Both will get there’s. It could come down to mistakes, turn overs and penalties.

We have to pressure the qb. And create turn overs. And limit our penalties. If the refs call it fair then they will be holding on our D-Line to try to protect and run. Our LBs keep the gaps. And we need to get a good start.

Dallas needs to come out on fire and not slowly getting the Offense going. get ahead early on score make Jimmy beat you. Jarwin is going to be key.

Yea I’ve been dying all week Jarwin could be huge in this game. Not just in the passing game but even more so in the running game. It will also enable Kellen to get back to those two TE sets that we can do so much out of. I’m really looking forward to seeing how we come out and attack. Will we try and establish the run? Or, what I’m thinking is come out with the same game plan we had against the Bucs and gash them with the pass.

Across all media we seem to be the most likely favorite to lose.

Part of that is the matchup but I also think McCarthy’s history and our general history of sucking in the playoffs over the last 20 years is also a factor.

I think we can win but I just have a bad feeling here.

Dallas defense has to stop the San Fran's running game, that's the key to this game, if this game resembles the Rams playoff game from a few years back, Dallas will lose!

Its a worry for me.

Our defense is at its best when the offense builds a lead and the opposing offense gets pass happy. It’s turns into a sack / turnover frenzy real quick.

It's a great matchup if Dak can play well. That is what it comes down to. Which Dak are we getting?
I think it’s more than just about Dak. Can we run the ball against this defense. And can our OL hold up against their DL.

Will our defense be able to slow down their running game ? Can we create havoc at LOS and turnovers. ?

I think it’s about much more than our QB . Maybe the bigger question is can Dak overcome all of our other factors if we struggle . I doubt it. But he’ll probably make a valiant effort.

IDK… this isn’t a good matchup for us. I really think it’s more about that along with how we’ve played down the stretch , their strengths against our weaknesses than our history this era.

Cowboy fans aren’t concerned if we can run the ball on their defense. And can OL hold off their DL. And can we slow down their running game?

I think there’s some legitimate concerns the analysts are raising.

Comes down to Dak. If Dak plays well, we win, hands down.
I’m really surprised you’re putting this all on our QB. We’ll see how much help he gets .

I’m not sure why fans think he’s enough to overcome if other factors aren’t going our way losing the battle up front and on the ground. I don’t believe he’s that elite to carry us without a supporting cast contributing.

I think Dak will play very well.. He's just not one to choke in that situation. I do worry that Moore will come out too passive early and allow the offense to start slow.. I say we come out with play action on the first play and take a deep shot to whoever Josh Norman is covering. Then come back with a couple of crossers with Jarwin or Wilson.. Send the message that we aint lettin some 34 year old slow arse CB cover any of our receivers without paying the price.. and let them know that if they drop TOO deep we have guys who can move the chains on them. I also think it's time the jet sweep made it back into the playbook.. Use the fake to Zeke to hold pursuit and let Pollard exploit the edges.. But they just have to be aggressive on offense. Don't sit back and "take what the defense gives you.." Go out and take what you want..

Unlike some CZ homers, Irvin actually watches other teams and has a basis for his opinions other than just blindly waving pompoms.

He never said Dallas couldn't win. He's just saying it won't be easy.
Yea, it amazes there’s actually some fans who don’t watch other games. What’s up with that?
