The mediots also keep saying Shanny will get better of Quinn. Quinn's Falcons beat the 40 Whiners in 2019. That Falcons team wasn't as good as the current Cowboys and that 2019 Whiners team went to the SB.

All the media seems to want to talk about is SF’s run game vs our D. Somehow SF has transformed into a juggernaut, while Dallas is just lucky to be there lol…

The true key to this game is actually the Dallas Offense vs SF D. Can SF stop the #1 offense in the NFL? If they can— then the game will be close and their run game indeed will be a huge factor.

However— if Dak and Co can get an early lead, move the ball, and score points— then the pressure begins to shift to Jimmy G and the SF passing offense and the Dallas pass-rush becomes a huge factor. Should that happen— I think Dallas wins fairly convincingly.

Bottom Line: If Dak has time to throw— there are mismatches to exploit in the SF secondary. Yes— we need to come ready to stop the run. The bigger question is can SF stop our offense?

Dallas 31
SF 20
Great insights

Good point.. SF is rolling in hot, while we were chugging along. And the playoffs is generally about who is the hottest team going in..

Dallas comes in having won 5/6 and putting up a 50 burger in their last game. San Fran is a good team and this will be a good game, but the media is dramatically overhyping the 9ers.

The bigger question is will the Dallas offense stop themselves? The time for clunkers is over. I don't know if the offense "got fixed" last week or not but I do know they need to be far more consistent than what we've seen since Dak got hurt.
The biggest question is can Conner block without holding. If Conner has a good game then we will most likely win. Either good or bad Conner Williams is the key IMO

Most teams outside the NFC east have stopped Dak so I don't know what makes you think this will be any different.
Great point. I will continue to have serious doubts about this team until they win one of these games against a good team. Dallas has the talent to win this game, but I question their mental toughness.

Yeah it’s funny how they’re trying to make the biggest matchup our defense vs like the #7 rushing offense or whatever they are, but no mention of their defense stopping the #1 overall offense.

I’ve become even more confident in this being a W since everybody is doubting us and picking the Niners to upset us. Don’t think for one second our players aren’t going to be motivated by what they hear & have heard.

I'm curious if/how SF will use Trey Lance.

A running QB vs a sometimes over-aggressive pass rush could leave a lot of lanes open to run through

Keys:

- Dak needs to play like first half of the season and not deer in the headlights
- O-Line needs to block better and control Bosa and SF Rushers
- RBs need to have a good game to keep the D honest
- Dont play this conservative stuff that never works. Use PA a lot and throw some bombs deep early.
- Our Pass Rush needs to rattle Jimmy G often and early
- Control Deebo Samuel and George Kittle
- Keep Zuerlein on the bench

SF& Raiders are the 2 scrappy teams, they keep battling to the end. This has led them into enough wins to make playoffs, and they could surprise some teams,
as they dont come to play , they come to battle for a win. SF I think has been better on the road, so coming here wont bother them.
Maybe dallas can out talent them, but I dont know if they can out battle them.
Best post I've seen in a while.

It's gonna be fine.

We're going to unveil that secret playbook and stop playing bad on purpose as not to show our hand now that it's playoff time.

I feel sorry for the 49ers. The last 2 1/2 months of holding out all our good plays and sandbagging is about to get unloaded on them.

What’s your prediction for the game?

well that means they struggled against poor and average teams then, right? if they had to battle to win 10 games.

We are the better team, top to bottom. If we play our best and they play their best football we will win by 2 scores. Regardless of what the media been saying. The 49ers are not in our class.

I’d argue that was a horrible team and our big wins were the typical season trend, where bad teams masked clear issues offensively.

But that’s why the game is played..

Putting up 50 on Philly's backups is not a factor.

Arik Armstead vs Connor Williams or Biadicz. If San Fran wins the game, I fear this is the individual matchup that will doom the Cowboys.

I think La'el/Zach will do a solid job on Bosa. Tyron will hold the fort on his island. But man, Armstead will be a handful for our OC/LG.
That’s my match up concern

The key match ups I will focus on is Kinlaw/Armstead vs Biadasz/Wiliams/McGovern.

I actually think over this game of 60+ snaps who wins this specific battlezone in the middle will actually be the winner.

So the key match no one is talking about is Dak vs. their secondary? Or is it our offensive line vs. their front four? Or is it our whole offense against their defense?

Just trying to clear the murky waters for us common folk.
Just my 2 cents, but it’s the whole offense vs. the whole defense. I don’t care whether we run down their throats, pass all over their happy dookie dumper, or some measure of each. We just need to move the ball and score points, more TDs versus FGs, beginning with the opening possession.
