I don't disagree that emmitt was a leader. so was aikman. the point is there are different types of leadership, the way emmitt led wasn't and isn't the only way.I think Risen makes good sense you just aren't listening.
Emmitt didn't just lead in stats. His efforts and heart lead the team to victories and super bowls.
How could you NOT be inspired by his game against the Eagles....240 yards on a blasted shoulder? (I think that was the game...but you get my point anyway).
A leader LEADS...to SOMEWHERE. All Dak has to do is win. And he's got it. What does he do...to LEAD? Just have stats? Hmmm...he may have to battle and take risks and show this team how to truly FIGHT.
Not just butt slaps and new shoes.
winnign superbowls is not an indicator of being a good leader or not. I am sure there are leaders in Detroit, Browns, Chargers. just because they missed playoffs and didn't win superbowls doesn't mean that they don't have leaders....you are incorrectly mixing the two to mean the same thing.
a leader leads the team somewhere....if they get there great. but if they don't yet accomplish more than they would otherwise, then the leader led. like I said, in past 20 years there has been 12 QBs that won superbowls. does that mean no other QB was a leader. except them?
you are utterly confused between team results and leadership.
