I was a young punk in the 80s and I am having bad flashbacks! Danny White would be in the HOF if it wasn't for the CATCH!
Dwight Clark is the guy I despise the most out of any former player that hurt the Cowboys. No one else then or now would’ve caught that pass.

Three straight nfc title game appearances..........I’m thinking he did more good than bad.

He didn’t do good in those games the Cowboys lost all three of them. It created a stigma that he couldn’t win the big game. The team he took over in 1980 was only two years removed from its last championship and most of the core players were under 30. Arguably the worst game of his career was against Philadelphia in the 1980 NFC title game. He was horrible! He only completed 38% of his passes and his passer rating was 38.0. He only had 127 yards passing which included an INT and 2 fumbles. He was playing well in the 1981 NFC title game but fumbled with the game on the line in the closing seconds. Fans remember him for that play just like they remember Romo for the bobbled snap against Seattle in the playoffs.

I dont have any first hand stories about Landry, "wish I did"... but Sam Rutigliano once gave my Dad a whole roll of Copenhagen snuff when I was a high school kid. The old man Kept it in the freezer. I even swiped a can for ME! :D
Awww Man! Memories are gushing! I remeber those "Cardiac Cleveland Browns" days w/ Brian Sipe at QB and coach Sam Rutigliano...

Not gonna lie, all the media, fans and 49ers players talking ish has worn thin with me. Time for the Cowboys to beat these chumps down like they stole something.

The 49ers camp has been really loud and obnoxious this week. Significantly more so than even the Cowboys have been in the past. Their players are running their mouthes on twitter, the media dumping on Dallas, SF fans talking insane levels of trash, I would love to see the Cowboys send these dudes home. I personally think Dallas has SF right where they want them. SF barely snuck into the playoffs but are posturing like they're 16-0 and the runaway Super Bowl favorite.

Maybe for the first time in a long time Dallas gets to be the team that stays quiet, focused, and sends SF packing.

Their defensive ends are about to be given a different story line than what's coming out of their pie holes!

I grew up in the Bay Area, so I hate the Niners. I remember when i was a kid, I told my dad I needed a new binder and he got me a Cowboys binder. When I showed up to school with that beautiful blue binder with the star on the lower right corner, I nearly got jumped by 4 kids. From that day forward, I became a Cowboys fan and I was fighting kids throughout the 90s. This is personal….

I loathe and despise all of our opponents who have ever beaten the Dallas Cowboys!
Things that were said beforehand and afterward made it even more intense.

Watched that game again yesterday. Danny threw some dimes, especially the early TD to Hill.
