Cowboys dodge the officiating bullet this week

I think something that is often overlooked when analyzing an upcoming match up between 2 teams - is the 3rd team on the field; the officials.

The best officials are the invisible ones. Unless it is blatant and or affects the play. They should be invisible.

Yep, refs make bad calls in every game. Happens. Deal with it. Win bigger. Dont let it come down to one or two bad calls.

The Cowboys have not yet dodged the officiating bullet. We won't know that until the game is over. But what happened today with the Raiders does not make me feel good about the officiating that the league provides.

They don't just make bad calls. They make game changing calls and insert themselves when they shouldn't but then they won't make obvious calls when they should.

The article say the more flags the officials throw the more likely there are rewarded with playoff games. They should have a waiver wire type drafting system for each game controlled by the teams for each game. The TEAM requests a certain crew in a waiver wire system. That would work. Enough of NY ****** us.

So both injuries and referees can't be the blame scapegoats?

Well, that still leaves plenty of alternatives, lol.

Maybe a CZ Reasons for Loss poll could be started.

Of course "the 49ers were just better that day" will not be a choice.
